Truth is Treason.net is:

• One person’s effort to correct the distorted perceptions provided by commercial media.
• Funded primarily by reader’s contributions and donations.
• This web site grew out of my personal frustration and anger at the failure of traditional commercial media to inform the American public, especially as it relates to U.S. foreign policy and the economy.
• A source of unreported (or under reported) news from around the globe.
• An effort to provide more depth and understanding to current issues.
• This web site is the work of one person.
• I am not affiliated with any particular political party, although I have mostly Libertarian beliefs that span political lines.
• I am not funded by any group.
• While there are a few ads scattered around the site, I receive pennies per month from them. Literally.
• I pay for all services associated with this site from my personal funds and readers’ donations.
• I am not wealthy.  I’m just a regular guy trying to change the world a little at a time.
• I work and live in the Oklahoma City metro.

About Me

I am a 27 year old former police officer.  I left law enforcement for a variety of reasons, but chief among them was the realization that police officers are no longer community-oriented public servants.  There are a few, but they are scattered and my love for being a cop turned into a very strong desire to get away from ‘the machine.’  Being a police officer changed my attitude, my outlook on life and controlled who I was.  When I finally stepped away, I could see through the veil that had been placed over my eyes.

I began getting into politics shortly before I resigned and am now a very passionate advocate of freedom, personal responsibility and radical self-reliance.  I campaigned for Ron Paul in his 2008 Presidential bid and although he didn’t win, I am thankful to say that due to the hard work of many, many dedicated Ron Paul supporters in New Orleans, we were able to get him on the ballot and I voted for him.

Through my activism in New Orleans, I began getting heavily involved in politics at all levels, including radio commentary.  I was graciously allowed to co-host Truth is Treason Radio on the Oracle Broadcasting Network and loved every minute of it.  After deciding to move away from New Orleans, I had to step away from the mic temporarily as I moved across the country to Oklahoma with my very loving girlfriend.  Here, we both continue to impart the ideals of freedom, personal responsibility – including preparedness, alternative energy and unique architectural designs -and continue to learn more about permaculture gardening, farming, construction and design.

Right now, I am in the process of building a contemporary cabin that will be a hybrid of traditional timber construction and shipping containers.  Alternative energy projects are one my hobbies, including solar and wind power.  I am currently only using solar part time, but with the shipping container/cabin homestead, I will be moving towards a hybrid design utilizing both.
