The number of extremist groups in the United States exploded in 2009 as militias and other groups steeped in wild, antigovernment conspiracy theories exploited populist anger across the country and infiltrated the mainstream, according to a report issued today by the Southern Poverty Law Center. (Hayden’s Note: I hate the SPLC. They are simply a radical government’s mouthpiece, trying to instill fear in the masses and slandering every respectable citizen in the process.)

How many of the owners of the country’s 277 million cell phones even know that companies like AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint can track their devices in real time?
