The doctor who first suggested a link between MMR vaccinations and autism has been struck off the medical register. The case did not investigate whether Dr. Wakefield’s findings were right or wrong, instead it focused on the methods of research. Hayden’s Note: That’s because when you can’t attack the data or refute the evidence, you attack the messenger or methods. This is a scam to discredit Dr. Wakefield.

A recent study found that 46 out of 50 cans tested had traces of Bisphenol A — more commonly known as BPA. BPA is an additive used to make shatter proof plastics. Canned foods are generally lined with a light layer of plastic containing BPA. Once canned, the chemical seeps into the food inside and then into our bodies. BPA has been linked to various health issues including cancer, heart disease, thyroid issues and obesity.

Children exposed to higher levels of a type of pesticide found in trace amounts on commercially grown fruit and vegetables are more likely to have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder than children with less exposure. Of all the sneaky tactics practiced in Washington D.C., this recent action by Congressman Henry Waxman (D-CA) is one of the most insidious: While no one was looking, he injected amendment language into the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2009 (H.R. 4173) that would expand the powers of the FTC to terrorize nutritional supplement companies by allowing the FTC to make its own laws that target dietary supplement companies. *** Hayden’s Note Attached ***

While nicotine is obviously less potent than heroin, it’s addicting qualities are far greater. And Big Tobacco has spent the last several decades perfecting this deadly concoction. I never gave it much thought because I have always been a dedicated customer of Big Tobacco. But now, in my attempt to wrangle free from their grasp, I find it mildly amusing at how difficult the Federal Government and FDA have made my escape attempt. The Government is dominating the nicotine field here in America while it dominates the heroin trade in Afghanistan.

“If accepted [S 510], would preclude the public’s right to grow, own, trade, transport, share, feed and eat each and every food that nature makes. It will become the most offensive authority against the cultivation, trade and consumption of food and agricultural products of one’s choice…”

Upwards of 90% of all corn, soybeans and cotton are grown from genetically engineered seeds, also known as genetically modified organisms (GMOs). A study by the International Journal of Biological Sciences revealed that Monsanto’s Mon 863, Mon 810, and Roundup herbicide-absorbing NK 603 in corn caused kidney and liver damage in laboratory rats. They also discovered damage to the heart, spleen, adrenal glands and even the blood of rats that consumed the mutant corn. This hasn’t slowed down Monsanto’s profit machine. In 2008, Monsanto cleared over $2 billion in net profits on $11 billion in revenues and is expecting gross margins in Q2 2010 of 62%.
