Just in time for the potential end of the world later this year, Spike TV has greenlighted Last Family On Earth, a new competition reality series in which families vie for a spot in an underground, luxurious, fortified Vivos bunker.

Hayden’s Disclosure:

I have applied as a contestant on this show.  Keep your fingers crossed for me as I continue through the application process!

Produced by Craig Piligian’s Pilgrim Studios, the six-episode one-hour series will premiere this fall, with the finale, in which the winning family move into their bunker, airing just before December 21 — when some expect potential cataclysmic demise as allegedly predicted by the Mayan calendar.

The competition will showcase survival techniques and, in addition to endurance and physical skills, test the contestants’ leadership abilities, integrity and character. The doomsday scenarios that will be played out on the show include a pandemic, global government or economic collapse, nuclear war, reactor meltdowns, solar flares, massive asteroids, lethal climactic change, a pole shift, calamitous earthquakes, and even widespread anarchy. A panel of three survivalist-expert judges, along with viewer input via social media, will help determine which family is eliminated each week....

Revolution Trailer: “It’s Gonna Turn Off, and It Will Never, Ever Turn Back On”

A new series this Fall from NBC looks like an exciting must watch for preppers (and we think some non-preppers may just be swayed into at least putting something away for an emergency).

While we can’t speak for the quality of the show, it looks quite interesting, especially the collapse of the power grid, which is something we’ve detailed in numerous posts and videos over the years.

Like Jericho, this one may prove to be pure Doomer entertainment at its best.

Revolution – coming this Fall:

Is The Hunger Games Trilogy a Libertarian Manifesto?

I’m about two hours away from finishing Mocking Jay, the last book of The Hunger Games trilogy. I wasn’t planning on reading the books, but once I got wind that there were some libertarian themes contained therein I figured…welllll, ok. So, do the books make up some sort of libertarian manifesto? One might think so based on thisthisthisthis, and this.

My take? I was pleasantly surprised. I kept waiting for the typical progressive themes of “Yeah, these big-government types over here are bad, but these big-government types over here are good.” Instead, you get the pleasing “These big-government types over here are bad, and these others that you thought would be good? Well, maybe they aren’t any good either.” There does seem to be a pervading message that if all these power-hungry leaders would just leave people alone, they could take care of themselves and be just fine, and “just fine” would be worlds better than where they’re at. If you’re already of a mind to loathe the State, these books will give you all the satisfaction you’re looking for, and it’s that much more satisfying to know how many other people are reading them....

Kevin Hayden –

It’s not every day that you can find a half-way decent book for free. Today is that day. Enemies Foreign and Domestic is an interesting little piece of fiction.

I won’t lie – I’ve read better books, but it does keep you hooked and has a decent storyline if you are into conspiracy or preparedness fiction.  Get it while it is still a FREE Amazon Kindle download.

BULLETS RAIN DOWN UPON A PACKED FOOTBALL STADIUM, killing dozens, and triggering a panic stampede which leads to a thousand more deaths. A police marksman kills the sniper, a mentally unbalanced Desert Storm veteran holding a smoking assault rifle. It’s an open and shut case, or so America is led to believe…

In the aftermath of the stadium massacre, an outraged public demands an end to the threat posed by assault rifles, and Congress passes emergency legislation banning their private possession....

Risk Assessment: Disaster Game Affirms Greed of Humans, Even When Faced with Extermination

Masters of Disaster

Howard Kunreuther and Robert Meyer have staked their careers on the belief that human beings are at heart, irrational and doomed to repeat the same mistakes over and over—unless we find a way to overcome our wiring.

But even they have been surprised by the results of Quake. (Hayden’s Note: No, not the First Person Shooter game called ‘Quake’ … I thought they meant that, too!)

Quake is a computer simulation that Meyer, the Gayfryd Steinberg Professor and co-director with Kunreuther of Wharton’s Risk Management and Decision Processes Center, helped design to test certain ideas about how humans perceive “risk.” Quake is very easy to play, but, as it turns out, very difficult to win—though not because the mechanics of the game are all that tricky.

Rather, it’s our brains that make it difficult.

It works like this: Quake players are presented with a little icon of a house on a map of a hypothetical country. They also get a pot of digital cash—$20,000....

Madonna’s Superbowl Halftime Show: Illuminati Symbolism and the Departure of the Grand Priestess Thumbnail

Madonna’s Superbowl Halftime Show: Illuminati Symbolism and the Departure of the Grand Priestess

When I learned that Madonna – aka the Grand Priestess of the music industry – would be performing at the Superbowl halftime show, I thought: “This should be interesting”. And it was. While most were amazed by a woman in her fifties dancing around with LMFAO and others were annoyed at her lip-syncing, I was interested with something else: the flurry of symbolism flashed to billions of viewers worldwide. While most considered Madonna’s performance as an entertaining interlude to the most important football game of the year, those blessed with symbol-literacy will probably agree with the following statement: Madonna’s halftime show was a big celebration of the Illuminati industry and of its Grand Priestess, Madonna.

A week before the Superbowl, Madonna described on Anderson Cooper the spiritual importance she attributed to her halftime show:

“The Superbowl is kind of like the Holy of Holies in America. I’ll come at halfway of the “church experience” and I’m gonna have to deliver a sermon. It’ll have to be very impactful.”

It is rather appropriate that this Kaballah-intiate referred to the Superbowl as the “Holy of Holies” as it was the name of the most sacred place in Solomon’s Temple....

Hayden’s Note:

This is a must-watch.  It’s a short video, but it is astounding.  I’ve been following this lab for awhile, watching them progress.  These tiny flying machines will be the future of military warfare, surveillance, and eventually, a daily part of our lives.  You might as well get used to your new robot overlords now. Hah.

Frito-Lay Sued for Labeling GMO Products as “All Natural”

Less than a year after Frito-Lay announced plans to make half their products without “any artificial or synthetic ingredients,” the $13 billion company was sued last week in federal court for fraudulently marketing the snacks that contain genetically modified ingredients as “all natural.”

Hayden’s Note:

See a few of my articles about GMOs and High Fructose Corn Syrup –

Somehow, “artificial” and “synthetic” doesn’t include “genetically modified” in Frito’s mind.

In its April 2011 “Seed-to-Shelf” disclosure campaign, Frito-Lay promised to inform consumers about each individual snack’s ingredients, even setting up an app for smartphone users to swipe the product’s barcode and read about it. Ann Mukherjee, Frito-Lay’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer, gushed:

“What better way to share the story behind Frito-Lay snacks than by giving consumers a look inside our Flavor Kitchen to see first-hand the all natural ingredients and real foods that inspire the products we make?”

Real foods? ...

New Evidence Suggests Flight 93 Still Airborne After Alleged Crash, Hundreds of Miles Away

Posted on Dec 13, 2011 in Alphabet Agencies & Operations, Blog, Editorials, & Thoughts, Mainstream Media & Programming

Kevin Hayden –

More information has recently surfaced which demonstrates that United Airlines Flight 93 and United 175 were still airborne and operational well after their alleged crashes in Shanksville, Pennsylvania and the WTC South Tower, respectively.

An organization of highly reputable and professional pilots, who’s only mission is to understand and analyze the events of September 11th, discovered through a Freedom of Information Act request, and a 2002 interview with the United Airlines Manager of Flight Dispatch, ACARS messages that show the two planes had received and acknowledged data messages after their crash times.

ACARS, or Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System, is a device used to send messages to and from an aircraft.  This system operates in a very similar fashion to our cell phone text messages and email, allowing air traffic controllers to communicate directly with planes, as well as allowing pilots to send direct messages to other planes.  And like cell phone networks, the ACARS network has remote ground stations (RGS) installed around the world in order to route messages based upon a plane’s current location, just like your iPhone reaches out to the nearest physical cell tower as you travel....

Frequent Video Gaming Creates Physical Brain Differences, Study Suggests

Fourteen-year-olds who were frequent video gamers had more gray matter in the rewards center of the brain than peers who didn’t play video games as much — suggesting that gaming may be correlated to changes in the brain much as addictions are.

Hayden’s Note:

I found this article to be very interesting… mainly because I was an avid video game player several years ago and am interested in how the brain works.  I find it fascinating that game playing – that continual reward and loss cycle – can physically alter the brain’s structure.  I suspect it has very, very little to do with the type of game, as all “games” have that win/loss cycle, especially gambling.

European scientists reported the discovery Tuesday in the journal Translational Psychiatry. Psychologist Simone Kuhn of Ghent University in Belgium and colleagues recruited 154 healthy 14-year-olds in Berlin and divided them into two groups. Twenty-four girls and 52 boys were frequent gamers who played at least nine hours of video games each week. Fifty-eight girls and 20 boys were infrequent gamers, who played less than nine hours a week....

Special Note: In this latest Alt-Market piece we try something a little different; short fiction based on fact. Make no mistake; while the characters and events in this story are products of imagination, the issues presented and their probable consequences are anything but fantasy. The message? What will you choose to be in the face of hardship and crisis; a mountain? An impassable obstacle to tyranny? Or, a silent and beaten passenger of the Redline?

Adam awoke to a distant murky warbling in the back of his mind, just beyond the sound of the wind and the gentle clap of cold rain against the vinyl tarp overhead. His fresh morning eyes stung as they met the chilled air within the tent. The thin fabric membrane rippled with the rush of the dreary weather outside and he curled into a ball, burying his head under the folds of his rather inadequate sleeping bag, attempting to stay warm. He wished he could remain there, just lay there within his cotton and nylon shelter forever, and never again step outside into the harsh world. ...

Adult Entertainment Studio Begins Construction on ‘Post-Apocalyptic’ Underground Bunker

A San Fernando Valley adult entertainment studio began construction this month on what it calls a “post-apocalyptic” underground bunker in anticipation of a global catastrophe rumored to take place in late 2012.

Hayden’s Note:

File this one under, “Didn’t See That Coming… But Should Have.”  It seems as though everyone is getting in on the survival bunker craze.  Moscow is racing to finish 5,000 new bunkers with a 2012 deadline. Things are getting strange.

A spokesman for Van Nuys-based Pink Visual said the bunker will be “far more than a mere bomb shelter or subterranean survivalist enclave” with amenities such as multiple fully-stocked bars, an enormous performing stage and a sophisticated content production studio.

“Our goal is nothing less than to survive the apocalypse to come in comfort and luxury,” said Pink Visual spokesman Quentin Boyer, “whether that catastrophe takes the form of fireballs flung earthward by an all-seeing deity, extended torrential rainfall, Biblical rapture, an earthquake-driven mega-tsunami, radioactive flesh-eating zombies, or some combination of the above.”

The studio’s website will also be maintained and updated throughout any potential disaster “even if those websites are only available on the bunker’s self-contained local network by that time,” Boyer added....

HAARP, Hurricane Irene and the DC Earthquake …Connected?

UPDATE in middle of article –

UPDATE II, showing anomalous “tuning fork” interference patterns in Irene –

New York City and Washington, DC experienced a rather powerful, shallow earthquake this afternoon, just as a category 1 hurricane is making its way towards the Eastern seaboard.  While these two events seem to be completely seperate, I have a feeling that they could be connected.  Follow me down this rabbit hole, if you will, in a short exercise in conspiracy theory building.

In 1997, US Secretary of Defense William Cohen made the following statement at a well-attended conference on weapons of mass destruction, “Others (terrorists) are engaging even in an eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves….So, there are plenty of ingenious minds out there that are at work finding ways in which they can wreak terror upon other nations…It’s real, and that’s the reason why we have to intensify our own (counterterrorism) efforts.”

If you think about it, that’s actually a pretty ominous statement coming from a sitting Secretary of Defense!...
