Rep. Ron Paul to Ft. Knox & Fed: Show Me the Gold

Aug 31st, 2010 | By Kevin Hayden | Category: Political Issues

Congressman Ron Paul is in the news today doing what he does best: dropping firebombs on the Fed. Ron Paul stated that it’s a “possibility” that there in fact isn’t any gold in Fort Knox or the New York Federal Reserve.

Burn, Witch, Burn!: America Rages Against Islam

Aug 27th, 2010 | By Kevin Hayden | Category: Political Issues

Just when the time was ripe for the people of this nation to unite in opposition to the established government, we are now beginning to see them part ways… and herded back into their respective corners. By now, it should be quite obvious that the hysteria centered on the proposed construction of an Islamic cultural center—a full two blocks from Ground Zero—is nothing more than an engineered distraction, designed to take the focus away from serious geopolitical and domestic issues as we head into the November elections.

The Ground Zero Mosque and Property Rights

Aug 20th, 2010 | By Kevin Hayden | Category: Political Issues

I couldn’t agree more with this article. Property rights were very highly valued by our Founders and as such, we needn’t “like” what someone is building or what they are saying. We merely have to respect their right to do so. If we allow or support the Govt in denying these rights to a select group, such as Muslims, how long is it until they do the same to you?

How long will you continue calling yourself a Constitutionalist if you can’t even support the property rights of others?

Without a Revolution, Americans are History

Aug 16th, 2010 | By Kevin Hayden | Category: Political Issues

The Ecstasy of Empire – The neocons allied with Israel, who control both parties and much of the media, are strung out on the ecstasy of Empire. The United States and the welfare of its 300 million people cannot be restored unless the neocons, Wall Street, the corporations, and their servile slaves in Congress and the White House can be defeated.

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, the father of Reaganomics, former editor for the Wall Street Journal and former head of policy at the Dept. of Treasury said, “Without a revolution, Americans are history.”

Ron Paul’s Solutions to Illegal Immigration

Aug 11th, 2010 | By Kevin Hayden | Category: Political Issues

“As long as illegal immigrants know that their children born here will be citizens, the perverse incentive to sneak into this country remains strong. Citizenship involves more than the mere location of one’s birth. True citizenship requires cultural connections and an allegiance to the United States. Americans are happy to welcome those who wish to come here and build a better life for themselves, but we rightfully expect immigrants to show loyalty and attempt to assimilate themselves culturally. Birthright citizenship sometimes confers the benefits of being American on people who do not truly embrace America.”
“Some illegal immigrants– certainly not all– receive housing subsidies, food stamps, free medical care, and other forms of welfare. This alienates taxpayers and breeds suspicion of immigrants, even though the majority of them work very hard. Without a welfare state, we would know that everyone coming to America wanted to work hard and support himself.”

Iran Issues Sanctions of it’s Own: Drops US Dollar in Oil Exports

Aug 10th, 2010 | By Kevin Hayden | Category: Political Issues

“These currencies are filthy and we will no longer sell our oil in dollar and euro,” Rahimi told a meeting of education officials. *** Elegant art of war, if I must say so. Essentially, placing sanctions on the United States, knowing that our dollar is propped up by nothing except oil! The problem is; when Saddam Hussein said this same thing back in the 1990′s, he was no longer an ally and was eventually toppled. Any major oil country who threatens the United States by pulling the plug on the US dollar can be placed at the very top of the next “incident” list or will be the scapegoat for the next false flag terror event. Count on it.

Religion, Justice & Proposition 8 – an Editorial

Aug 5th, 2010 | By Kevin Hayden | Category: Constitutional & Liberty Issues, Featured Articles, Political Issues

Reactions to a federal judge overturning California’s gay marriage ban Wednesday have been extremely varied, from the right-wing war-mongering radio talking heads denouncing it as the fall of America to the far-left enviro-hippies crying in joy as if they just witnessed a baby whale being born.

Either way, my reaction to the situation is one based on the United States Constitution.

Sen. Vitter Demands Answers on Amnesty Memo

Aug 2nd, 2010 | By Kevin Hayden | Category: Constitutional & Liberty Issues, Political Issues

In the wake of an administration memo discussing “non-legislative ways to achieve amnesty,” Republican Sen. David Vitter says he and his colleagues are investigating whether the White House is trying to bypass Congress in a push for mass legalization for illegal immigrants.

Ron Paul Talks About the Fair Sentencing Act

Jul 31st, 2010 | By Kevin Hayden | Category: Political Issues

Here Dr. Paul talks on the House floor about the horribly unjust and inequitable drug war, and an effort to stem some of the greatest sentencing abuses. It’s a good start, but does not go far enough, Paul concludes. He briefly touches on Prohibition, as well. * Embedded Video

Pelosi Blocks Oil Spill Investigation

Jul 29th, 2010 | By Kevin Hayden | Category: Political Issues

The latest version of the CLEAR Act is slated for a floor vote in the House this week as Democrats look for ways to use the Gulf oil spill as a means to pass elements of their unpopular energy agenda. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stripped out authorization for an independent investigation into the Gulf disaster. “It defies common sense that this amendment passed unanimously in committee, only to be deleted in the Speaker’s office.” The bill also sets up myriad regulations and new standards and laws for drilling that have nothing to do with offshore drilling.
