On November 5th, a record-breaking earthquake measuring 5.6 rattled Oklahoma and was felt as far away as Illinois.

Until two years ago Oklahoma typically had about 50 earthquakes a year, but in 2010, 1,047 quakes shook the state.

In Lincoln County, where most of this past weekend’s seismic incidents were centered, there are 181 injection wells, according to Matt Skinner, an official from the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, the agency which oversees oil and gas production in the state.

Hayden’s Note:

My shipping container homestead,, is located in Lincoln County and these earthquakes ROCKED the place!

Cause and effect?

The practice of injecting water into deep rock formations causes earthquakes, both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Geological Survey have concluded.

The U.S. natural gas industry pumps a mixture of water and assorted chemicals deep underground to shatter sediment layers containing natural gas, a process called hydraulic fracturing, known more informally as “fracking.” While environmental groups have primarily focused on fracking’s capacity to pollute underground water, a more ominous byproduct emerges from U.S....

Two New Fed GPS Trackers Found on SUV – Hayden’s Note on Privacy and Legality

As the Supreme Court gets ready to hear oral arguments in a case Tuesday that could determine if authorities can track U.S. citizens with GPS vehicle trackers without a warrant, a young man in California has come forward to Wired to reveal that he found not one but two different devices on his vehicle recently.

Hayden’s Note:

I’ve got a bit of experience in using GPS on vehicles, both as a (former) public law enforcement officer and within the private sector, where I currently am.  In public law enforcement, I find it absolutely horrifying that there are such loose requirements and parameters surrounding GPS tracking.  Arguments are made that since your vehicle is on a public roadway, and because you have a decreased expectation of privacy while on these roadways, that GPS tracking is perfectly legitimate and Constitutional.  Many will argue that the very same results could be had by simply tailing your car, or following you, therefore using a technological version of this is acceptable.  I vehemently disagree with that assessment. ...

Quantum Levitation Using a Chilled Superconductor Thumbnail

Quantum Levitation Using a Chilled Superconductor

Posted on Oct 18, 2011 in Science & Technology

Kevin Hayden –

Researchers at the school of physics and astronomy at Tel Aviv University have created a track around which a semiconductor can float, thanks to the phenomenon of “quantum levitation.”

This levitation effect is explained by the Meissner effect, which describes how, when a material makes the transition from its normal to its superconducting state, it actively excludes magnetic fields from its interior, leaving only a thin layer on its surface.

When a material is in its superconducting state — which involves very low temperatures — it is stronglydiamagnetic. This means that when a magnetic field is externally applied, it will create an equally opposing magnetic field, locking it in place.

A material called yttrium barium copper oxide can be turned into a superconductor by exposure to liquid nitrogen — which makes it one of the highest-temperature superconductors.

In the video it appears that a puck of yttrium barium copper oxide cooled by liquid nitrogen is repelling the magnets embedded on the handheld device. It also shows that the angle of the magnet can be locked in a magnetic field....

X-47B Wheels Up The X-47B flies with its landing gear up for the first time during a test flight at Edwards Air Force Base in California.

The Navy’s ultimate stealth fighter drone has achieved a new milestone — it flew in cruise configuration for the first time, stowing its landing gear for a streamlined flight.

The jet-powered, autonomous X-47B is designed for aerodynamic flight — it doesn’t even have a tail — partly to improve its stealth capabilities. But until now, its flight tests hadn’t retracted the landing gear, making it difficult to test its aerodynamic attributes. Further tests will help engineers prove the aircraft’s performance under a wide range of altitude, speed and fuel conditions.

This post follows on from Energy & Vibration: The Principles Behind The Human Experience.

There’s a lot of upheaval unfolding across our world right now as a result of our approach toward an evolutionary crossroad. There is definitely a collective sense of uncertainty within the human population, you can feel it and see it. I believe that if we allow ourselves to understand the bigger picture and recognise the underlying order behind the seeming chaos, we’ll be able to navigate through the coming upheaval with peace and security and rather than react with fear, we can use it for our expansion, success and personal evolution.

Steve Jobs is Dead – Global Elite CAN Die from Cancer

Posted on Oct 05, 2011 in Global & National News, Health, Food News, & Big Pharma, Science & Technology

Kevin Hayden –

This is mainly just a, “Hey, in case you didn’t hear….”

Steve Jobs, of Apple-fan-boy dreams, is dead at the age of 56.  His death comes only weeks after resigning as chief executive of computer giant Apple Inc. for health reasons.

I suppose the Global Elite CAN die of cancer, after all.  All the money and fame in the world couldn’t prevent his cancer.  Thanks for the DARPA-infused-intelligent-tracking-military-surveillance-sidekick known as the iPhone, Steve.

Edit: I selected this title because many people believe that the global elites are somehow protected from these ailments.  This is more of a call to arms for cancer research, which I focus on quite heavily here at TruthisTreason.  All of the big pharma, pseudo-science, and chemo therapies in the world stumble at curing pancreatic cancer.  Instead, a very aggressive alkaline diet must be established, among many other things.  No one is immune from cancer. Not even Steve Jobs, one of the richest men in the world.

Hayden’s Note:

This is a really excellent piece from  Always leading the web in interesting military intelligence-related articles, I can’t help but include most of the article so that you can understand it all in context.  Apple, artificial intelligence, Stanford Research, SIRI, DARPA, and technology that literally translates to, “Soldier’s Servant;”  It’s in your pocket, pinging your location, and learning more about you minute by minute.  It is designed to learn from your actions and begin making its own decisions.

One of the stocks that I used to kick around in the 1990s was that of a now long dead company called General Magic. Back then, I looked into the company and learned that it was, in essence, divested from Apple in 1990. It was made up of former Apple employees and Apple held 10% of the company.

Apple has been thinking about the post PC era (that we’re actually entering now, according to them) since the 1980s. Here’s Apple’s Knowledge Navigator concept from 1987:

This wasn’t going to happen anytime soon, so they spun it off into General Magic....

India Sues BioTech Terrorist Monsanto for ‘BioPiracy’ of Native Eggplant Species

Representing one of the most agriculturally bio-diverse nations in the world, India has become a primary target for biotechnology companies like Monsanto and Cargill to spread their genetically-modified (GM) crops into new markets. However, a recent France 24 report explains that the Indian government has decided to take an offensive approach against this attempted agricultural takeover by suing Monsanto for “biopiracy,” accusing the company of stealing India’s indigenous plants in order to re-engineer them into patented varieties.

And in an attempt to capitalize on the lucrative crop known as Brinjal (Indian eggplant), Monsanto has repeatedly tried to commercially market its own GM variety of brinjal called Bt brinjal. But massive public outcry against planned commercial approval of Monsanto’s “frankencrop” variety in 2010 led to the government banning it for an indefinite period of time.

But Monsanto is still stealing native crops, including brinjal, and quietly working on GM varieties of them in test fields, which is a clear violation of India’s Biological Diversity Act (BDA). So at the prompting of various farmers and activists in India, the Indian government, representing the first time in history a nation that has taken such action, has decided to sue Monsanto....

CERN Clocks Particles Exceeding Speed of Light Thumbnail

CERN Clocks Particles Exceeding Speed of Light

Puzzling results from CERN, home of the LHC, have confounded physicists – because it appears subatomic particles have exceeded the speed of light.

Neutrinos sent through the ground from CERN toward the Gran Sasso laboratory 732km away seemed to show up a tiny fraction of a second early. CERN is said to have clocked the neutrino exceeding the speed of light by 60 nanoseconds… with a margin of error of only 10 nanoseconds.

The result – which threatens to upend a century of physics – will be put online for scrutiny by other scientists.  In the meantime, the group says it is being very cautious about its claims.

“We tried to find all possible explanations for this,” said report author Antonio Ereditato of the Opera collaboration.

“We wanted to find a mistake – trivial mistakes, more complicated mistakes, or nasty effects – and we didn’t,” he told BBC News.

“When you don’t find anything, then you say ‘Well, now I’m forced to go out and ask the community to scrutinize this.'”

The speed of light is the Universe’s ultimate speed limit, and much of modern physics – as laid out in part by Albert Einstein in his special theory of relativity – depends on the idea that nothing can exceed it....

Near-Earth Threats, NASA and Elenin – a Civilized Analysis

Kevin Hayden –

Recently, there has been quite a bit of talk about a comet or celestial body named Elenin (or C/2010x) that has entered our solar system and will be making a close pass of the Earth soon.  At first, I assumed it was simply the talk of fanciful amateur astronomers and that, at most, it might offer an interesting night-sight for Earth’s inhabitants, much like Haley’s Comet and many others.

But as I continued hearing more and more about this “Elenin object,” I started to realize this was no mere comet.  And perhaps, just maybe, it could have something to do with the famed Planet-X first reported about back in 1983 by the Washington Post.  Unfortunately, it seemed as though most of what I could find was wild speculation and fanatical rantings about the end of the world.  I had discovered only a handful of articles that offered any sort of rational information.  It seemed as though the only thing everyone could agree on is the fact that an object is approaching planet Earth but there are dozens of different theories regarding trajectories, size and just how close it will come.  ...

CERN: The Sun, Not Man, Causes Climate Change

Posted on Aug 30, 2011 in - Physics & the Universe

If Michael Crichton had lived to write a follow-up to State of Fear, the plotline might well have gone like this: at a top secret, state of the art laboratory in Switzerland, scientists finally discover the true cause of “global warming”. It’s the sun, stupid. More specifically – as the Danish physicist Henrik Svensmark has long postulated – it’s the result of cosmic rays which act as a seed for cloud formation.

The scientists working on the project are naturally euphoric: this is a major breakthrough which will not only overturn decades of misguided conjecture on so-called Man Made Global Warming but will spare the global economy trillions of dollars which might otherwise have been squandered on utterly pointless efforts to reduce anthropogenic CO2 emissions. However, these scientists have failed to realise just how many people – alarmist scientists, huckster politicians,  rent-seeking landowners like (the late Michael Crichton’s brilliant and, of course, entirely fictional creation) the absurd, pompous Sir Reginald Leeds Bt, green activists, eco-fund managers, EU technocrats, MSM environmental correspondents – stand to gain from the Man Made “Climate Change” industry....

UPDATE in middle of article –

UPDATE II, showing anomalous “tuning fork” interference patterns in Irene –

New York City and Washington, DC experienced a rather powerful, shallow earthquake this afternoon, just as a category 1 hurricane is making its way towards the Eastern seaboard.  While these two events seem to be completely seperate, I have a feeling that they could be connected.  Follow me down this rabbit hole, if you will, in a short exercise in conspiracy theory building.

In 1997, US Secretary of Defense William Cohen made the following statement at a well-attended conference on weapons of mass destruction, “Others (terrorists) are engaging even in an eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves….So, there are plenty of ingenious minds out there that are at work finding ways in which they can wreak terror upon other nations…It’s real, and that’s the reason why we have to intensify our own (counterterrorism) efforts.”

If you think about it, that’s actually a pretty ominous statement coming from a sitting Secretary of Defense!...

IBM Unveils Experimental Cognitive Computer, Chip that Mimics the Human Brain

Posted on Aug 19, 2011 in Science & Technology

Kevin Hayden –

IBM has unveiled a new experimental computer chip that it says mimics the human brain in that it perceives, acts and even thinks.

It terms the machines built with these chips “cognitive computers”, claiming that they are able to learn through experience, find patterns, generate ideas and understand the outcomes.

Hayden’s Note:

This is a bit troubling for a number of reasons.  Artificial intelligence?  Rise of the machines?  The fact that IBM worked hand in hand with the German Nazis?

In building this new generation of chip, IBM combined principles of nanoscience, neuroscience and supercomputing.
It has been awarded $21m (£12.7m) of new funding by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) for the next phase of the project, which it terms “Systems of Neuromorphic Adaptive Plastic Scalable Electronics” (SyNAPSE).

“This is a major initiative to move beyond the von Neumann paradigm that has been ruling computer architecture for more than half a century,” said Dharmendra Modha, project leader for IBM Research.

The Ever-Increasingly Creepy Google Buys Motorola for $12.5 Billion

Posted on Aug 15, 2011 in Science & Technology – Kevin Hayden

Google Inc., maker of the Android mobile-phone software, agreed to buy smartphone maker Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc. for $12.5 billion in its biggest deal, gaining mobile patents and expanding in the hardware business.

Motorola shareholders will get $40 a share in cash, the companies said in a statement today. That’s 63 percent more than Motorola Mobility’s closing price on the New York Stock Exchange on Aug. 12. Both boards have approved the takeover.

Larry Page, Google’s co-founder who took over as chief executive officer in April, is transforming Google into a smartphone maker to take on Apple Inc. (AAPL)’s iPhone and gain more clout in the wireless business. Motorola Mobility, under pressure to seek strategic changes by activist investor Carl Icahn, gives Google more than 17,000 patents the company can leverage in negotiations with competitors such as Apple.

NOAA, NASA: Severe Solar Storms Could Cause Power Outages for Years in 2013

Posted on Aug 09, 2011 in Science & Technology – Kevin Hayden

Source: International Business Times

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), a federal agency that focuses on the condition of the oceans and atmosphere, said a severe solar storm could cause global disruptions in GPS systems, power grids, satellite communications, and airline communications.

With solar activity expected to peak around 2013, the Sun is entering a particularly active time and big flares like the recent one will likely be common during the next few years.

Most solar flares will only cause minor problems with satellites and power grids, but a major flare in the mid-19th century blocked the nascent telegraph system, and some scientists believe that another such event is now overdue.

In a huge solar storm back in 1859, telegraph offices worldwide were hit, some telegraph operators reported electric shocks, the telegraph systems malfunctioned and even paper caught fire. It is the strongest solar storm on record and is called the “Carrington Event,” which is named after Richard Carrington, who viewed and reported on the solar flare of Sept. 1, 1859.

The NOAA predicted four “extreme” solar emissions which could threaten the planet this decade....
