CNN Drops Soldier Talking About RP’s Foreign Policy – Update: Gets to Finish Speaking

I rarely write editorials like this, but my jaw just dropped to the floor.  I’ve been watching the Iowa Caucus coverage and Fox, CNN, etc have been covering the Romney and Santorum camps pretty heavily, as expected.  They finally switched over to the Ron Paul HQ, where the correspondant was interviewing an active duty US soldier.

Jesse Thorsen has served 10 years in the Army, and about to embark on his 3rd tour in Afghanistan.  When the anchor labeled Ron Paul’s foreign policy as “dangerous” – the soldier responded, saying we should stop nit-picking in other countries’ affairs, Israel can take care of herself, and to bring the troops home.  Suddenly, the feed began to go fuzzy and cut out.  Of course, they returned to the studio and began talking about Romney.

Update: Found it!

Update 2: Soldier Talks

I was blown away to watch that live.  I’ll try and find a YouTube video of it later, once someone uploads it.  I’ve been watching for a few hours and CNN has had zero issues with their image or feed.  Suddenly, when talking about real points, such as foreign aid, Israel, and starting wars – with a US soldier, no less – they “lose the signal?”  No conspiracy theories here, but I find it awfully coincidental.  Furthermore, they never returned to that soldier to get the rest of his thoughts.
