We received the long form of the census in 2010 at our old address. I ignored several phone calls from the census bureau trying to obtain the information. Finally my husband spoke with a census worker over the phone who spoke poor English and basically told her very politely that the info she was requesting was not the govt’s business. A census worker showed up at my new home and I told her I had answered all I was required to answer at my old address. That was then end of that episode.
So we then get the ACS about 6 wks ago. Upon failing to complete it (I tore it up and tossed it), we got a 2nd survey which went the way of the 1st. I got 2 phone calls and told both census workers that the ACS is unconstitutional and I was not going to answer any questions. I was marked “REFUSED” on their paperwork. We then got a letter telling us we needed to comply. And then the guys started coming to the door and leaving their little “Please call me! It’s urgent!” notes. We did not go to the door the 1st 3 visits and the guy went to my neighbor’s house to ask about us. He did not even show an ID and my neighbor was realy suspicious esp since this was at 7:30 PM. We live in a gated community and the census worker was following people in to gain access. Finally my husband, ever the patient man, answered the door. He listened to the spiel and told the guy we were not answering any questions. I was listening just inside the door. This census guy had the audacity to claim that soldiers are dying and somehow that means we should complete the survey! I blew my top and stepped out the door telling the guy how shameful he was to use the death of our troops to try and guilt us into filling out this unconstitutional, 4th Amendment violating piece of garbage. I asked him how it would help build highways to know how many toilets I have! He, of course like all of them, stated this is MANDAtTORY and we “could be fined”. I told him NO one has been fined. He said we would be receiving something via Fed Ex which has not arrived yet.
This is an absolute outrage that people are being bullied, threatened and coerced into filling out information that I wouldn’t give to my family members! It is time we resisted this kind of govt intrusion into our lives.

Ok, I know this is kinda old, and probably no one will comment but me. But………if there is anyone out there that can get their hand on how the ruskies made this thing, or blueprints on how it can be reverse-engineered…….we need it!!!!! This thing will save countless live, and really give us and edge when the FAA starts sending out drones to hunt us and kill us during the night. FYI drone use has been approved in the US, its only a matter of time before they go from strictly recon, to being fitted with GBU-12′s, and AGM-23′s

Perhaps some allergy resistance develops in the womb. When the mother is exposed to hay, cattle, swine, horses, etc., the baby may be conditioned to survive and thrive in the environment.

This is a dramatic over simplification and represents a significant misunderstanding fo the topics at hand.

First, a derivative is not exclusively limited to the item you are describing. Futures contracts…. like on corn… allow farmers and processors to ensure future business at pre agreed upon prices are the most common forms of derivates, with options probably being the second. Neither of which are harmful in any way, in fact they allow business to run with less risk.

Second, to use your example… the actual course fo events is as follows. Heidi runs a bar and some of her patrons pay and others dont, but she is in the business of selling drinks, not managing accounts recievable so she allows a collections agenty to collect the money for her, accepting 80% of what she would have originally gotten. The collections agency looks at it and says 20% of these people are likely to pay us guaranateed and breaks them off into a separate bucket that is rated AAA becuase they are likely to pay even if the others from heidis bar arent.

Then the bulk of the people, lets say 60% are 50% likely to pay. So the analysis is done and it can comfortably be said that we will collect 10% of the money from that 60% of people for certain. so a AAA security is written on that 10% of that 60%. This is where the problem is introduced, that redivision and repackaging can be done seemingly infinitly and the records keeping gets a little hazy.
To condemn all derivatives trading because of some people that took a bad position is crazy.

If truth is treason, then the author of this article can sleep soundly at night.

Hahaha,

Well, it’s a long, tough path, but I suppose it can be accomplished. There is a television series about *leaving* the Amish, but I noticed one episode included a young girl who wanted to *join*. Uphill battle – they don’t take in many from the “outside world.”

Instead, just get out to the farm, outside, get to the woods… and your allergies will be much better after getting used to the new surroundings.
