Here is a bit of food for thought when it comes to getting wheat out of your diet!
We’ve all been fed the lie when it comes to whole grains and their supposed health benefits, but Dr. William Davis (author of Wheat Belly: Lose the Wheat, Lose the Weight, and Find Your Path Back to Health) breaks down our modern-day wheat consumption. He goes on to talk about the modified wheat we’ve eaten over the last few decades, and how it is wholly different than the wheat your mother or grandmother ate. He makes a great analogy in the video in regards to smoking traditional cigarettes versus improved, filtered cigarettes. Sure, one is better than the other, but they are both horrendous for your health. We need to return to our logical senses and apply this same sort of questioning to our daily eating habits.
