FDA Says You Have No Fundamental Right to Grow or Eat Healthy Food, It’s a Privilege

Here’s a quick follow-up article to the one posted a few days ago about the Rawesome Food Club raid. Carefully read the statement issued by the Food and Drug Administration.
Note: Below, ‘Plaintiffs’ refers to James Stewart, Rawesome’s founder, Sharon Palmer, owner of Healthy Family Farms, and Victoria Bloch. The trio were charged with the production and sale of unpasteurized goat milk, goat cheese, and other products; and with “mislabeling cheese.” They were also charged with four counts of conspiracy to commit a crime.
According to the FDA…
“Plaintiffs’ assertion of a new ‘fundamental right’ to produce, obtain, and consume unpasteurized milk lacks any support in law.
“There is no ‘deeply rooted’ historical tradition of unfettered access to foods of all kinds.”
“Plaintiffs’ assertion of a ‘fundamental right to their own bodily and physical health, which includes what foods they do and do not choose to consume for themselves and their families,’ is similarly unavailing because plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to obtain any food they wish.”
I’m gonna say something real crazy here: if the above statements released by the FDA don’t freak you out, you’re clueless and a big part of the problem. The fact that they can state that all Americans don’t have a “fundamental right to their own bodily and physical health, which includes what foods they do and do not choose to consume for themselves and their families” is downright dictatorial. If the Constitution doesn’t protect us with respect to what we choose to eat or not eat, it’s a useless document…
…useless because it seems those who rule over us have no reason to abide by it. Why have a Constitution if government agencies risk nothing by ignoring it? Instead, the FDA should be punished. Every agent involved, from the FDA down to the clueless LAPD drones who blindly accepted their orders, should be jailed. After all, they are the ones who committed a crime on that day; not James Stewart, Sharon Palmer and Victoria Bloch.
And this is why my hope is dwindling for our future. Things like this occur and no one cares. Not a blip on the radar for most. They just continue on with their daily routines, not the slightest bit aware that every day, another theft of liberty occurs, trickling away the rights our forefathers fought and died to obtain. Doesn’t that disgust you!? Doesn’t that make you sick!?
I’ve grown more and more contemptuous toward those who are ignorant and content in that ignorance. These are the true enemy of the free. These are the people who represent the ultimate problem; not the ruling elite. Because if everyone woke up, the ruling elite would no longer be rulers.
Those around you are the problem. Wake them up…or we’re doomed to serfdom…or worse.

Revolution takes many forms, but ultimately it comes to blows because that’s the easiest and quickest way for governments to show who’s boss and for people to battle injustice and regain person freedom. History bears this out.

Problem is, someone always figures out a way to profit from the battle and start the cycle all over again (Rothchildes, Federal Reserve Cartel, OPEC, et. al . . .). “Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it.” (playing an old cliche fiddle here, but Rome burns my friends…Please forgive me.)
Ingnorance is the food of slavery and evil, Knowledge the food of freedom and and good. Plant knowledge in the garden of our children before it’s too late to grow it any longer.

Here we go, they will start to force their vaccinations and processed foods on us to dumb us down even further then what we are.
I don’t understand where you get that producing food yourself is unlawful? The problem here is that they were producing and SELLING a product that has a high risk of contamination completely unregulated. This is not ok!
Also, to Todd, I seriously recommend you do some research into vaccinations for your sake and the sake of those around you. Don’t go to websites, I mean try and learn the fundamental biology behind vaccination. Vaccines are the only reason most of us don’t know someone who had or has polio, when just a few short years ago everyone knew at leastone person who had contracted it and suffered because of it. Vaccines do not cause autism, that study was defrauded. Vaccines save lives, the problem is that through no fault of their own, many people do not really understand how and why they work.
I personally feel everyone has the right to produce and sell whatever they want as long as they’re regulated. I would never trust food from an unregulated source, as a Microbiologist I’ve tested samples from regulated companies that come out positive for some nasty stuff.

You exhibit some extremely skewed thought processes when it comes to the basic fundamentals of freedom and personal liberty, two ideals that not only were We founded upon, but are what most humans yearn for.
You say that everyone has the RIGHT to PRODUCE and SELL whatever they want…. as long as they are regulated. Therefore, if regulated, people do NOT have the right to produce or sell WHATEVER they want. Instead, they must follow instructions, orders, laws and rules set forth by some authoritative body. That is not freedom to sell and produce as one pleases.
Furthermore, Tanya, the fact that you would “never trust food from an *unregulated* source” is YOUR personal freedom in action. You, as a microbiologist, can choose to spend your money elsewhere and assist the free market in discerning whether a particular “unregulated source” goes bankrupt from lack of business or flourishes because they offer a valuable commodity.
That’s freedom. That’s liberty. That’s economic propsperity in action, rather than stifling the business cycle. If you were to get sick from eating an “unregulated product,” then you can take action through the civil courts – as they are intended to be used.
You come here preaching to Todd about fear mongering and doing his research on vaccines. I would suggest you do the same in regards to small, family-owned farms offering “unregulated” milk and cheese products. Their livlihood and reputation depend on its quality and any sensible business owner will do whatever it takes to maintain his product’s quality.
Additionally, I would suggest that YOU do further homework and research into the Rawesome Food Club raid. They played by the rules set forth by the regulatory bodies. They did not publicly SELL their products. It was a PRIVATE club where members paid monthly dues in order to be able to have access to this “unregulated food.” Therefore, the rules are a bit different. I recommend you look into this topic.

You’ve got to realize the Constitution has nothing to do with your protection…You cannot use it in your defense. It’s basically a conract to enumerate federal government’s cans and cannot do’s, tto limit federal government, and tell it States retain superiority and each their own sovereignty. But slowly politicians have eroded this until where we find ourselves now… with a fed govt that has turned into a monster by way of Global Central Bankers. Get rid of the Banksters, the IMF and the UN (WHO) and you’re free.
The Bill of Rights does enumerates your rights as adopted by the Magna Carta of 1215.. However, even then, you must realize WE ALL have been ENDOWED BY INALIEBLE RIGHTS FROM OUR CREATOR… which means, natural law as a soveriegn.. each and every one of us is a sovereign. We do not need a piece of paper to tell anyone we are free. We are free by God from the moment we are born. And we do no accept another MAN ruling over us. Law of man is only accepted when WE elect/chose to be governed as we want to be governed by those we elect to govern over us.But now we have a basically treasonous bunch bowing down ad cowtowing to bankers who pull their strings though bribery or coercion. I am thinking direct democracy doesn’t sound so bad from this side of the landscape.
Anyway, dear patriot.. we are in a big mess and I don’t see people joining groups to become strong to stand up against all this bullcrap. We can’t go it one by one. We must group. There’s strength in numbers and the controllers know it. That’s why they throw bs issues in the news.. to keep us arguing among us.
We better ger a move on, because they are already orchestrating a WWIII to start between Israelis and some muslim country. Most likely Iran. And while they do that to distract us, we will be experiencing more totalitarianism here, where even being in your home will not be safe as they slowly break us down to build us all back up in their way… slaves under global government.
@TANYA: Through past presidents having either Exec Ordered or Congressional ratifications of United Nations (Fascist world government) treaties (legal or illegal)., while president in office honors the treaties of the World Health Organization… a UN agency. Look up Codex Alimentarius.
The WHO has criminalized vitamins and supplements as well. This is happening here in the USA, NOW. But who pays attention? Noone unless it directly affects them. I am voting for Ron Paul. He’s the only candidate who s telling us the truth. The used car salesmen are calling him kooky to deter people who are not paying attention. He is one man, but it’s a strong start to dismantle this UN mess we are in. Anyone else is a payed agent of the banksters/UN and will only take us off the cliff. We are at the very end but they move real slow so people do not notice.

Thank you for your response. What I don’t understand is what is the problem with someone wanting to make sure that a food product that is on the market is properly tested? The reason thye FDA exists is so that we have a set group of principles to follow in order to make sure the products that we buy are clean and own up to what they’re supposed to be.
Milk is literally something that is used to grow some bacterial cultures and they flourish in it. It makes sense that these products would need to be tested by a microbiologist to make sure they are sterile or as close as can be hoped for from a product of an animal. Not only that, but testing for other chemical contaminants.
Now, if it were my farm and I was milking the cow myself etc etc etc, yeah sure, i’d be fine not testing it because I handled it myself. But would I accept it from a company producing it? No. Yes it’s in their best interest to have a good product, but how do I know, unless they follow FDA guidelines and are regularly audited like every other company, that they aren’t doing something that inadvertantly contaminates it? I can’t.
And seriously, economic and regulatory demi-gods? That’s a stretch. Just because I want to make sure the product that I’m buying is up to standards doesn’t mean I’m some douchebag who never questions anything. I just have experience in FDA testing and GMP and GLP, so I’ve got some experience here that a lot of people don’t have.

The problem is that big agricultural businesses have and are gaining too much control due to the ability to patent life and have the market cornered by controlling who is in FDA, EPA and our Supreme Court. You say you would trust raw milk if it was from your own cow but you may not have that freedom much longer. You say you trust the FDA when they are allowing Monsanto and companies like them to play God with our food and reduce the nutritional value and insert proteins that kill insects and resist herbicides @ the DNA level and then turn around and sue our organic farmers out of business for the wind carrying the GMO pollen over to the organic field and changing the seed to GMO seed so now they are inadvertently infringing on the seed patent. The FDA has been in charge and yet our foods have never been less safe with recalls due to contamination. The more you sterilize the less immune we are to the bacteria that exist yet those bacteria are growing more resistant as well. Meanwhile Monsanto also owns Pfizer who makes the drugs we hope will make us well again that are produced with GMO crops.
