New Evidence Suggests Flight 93 Still Airborne After Alleged Crash, Hundreds of Miles Away

More information has recently surfaced which demonstrates that United Airlines Flight 93 and United 175 were still airborne and operational well after their alleged crashes in Shanksville, Pennsylvania and the WTC South Tower, respectively.

An organization of highly reputable and professional pilots, who’s only mission is to understand and analyze the events of September 11th, discovered through a Freedom of Information Act request, and a 2002 interview with the United Airlines Manager of Flight Dispatch, ACARS messages that show the two planes had received and acknowledged data messages after their crash times.

ACARS, or Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System, is a device used to send messages to and from an aircraft.  This system operates in a very similar fashion to our cell phone text messages and email, allowing air traffic controllers to communicate directly with planes, as well as allowing pilots to send direct messages to other planes.  And like cell phone networks, the ACARS network has remote ground stations (RGS) installed around the world in order to route messages based upon a plane’s current location, just like your iPhone reaches out to the nearest physical cell tower as you travel.

For a more in-depth understanding of how ACARS works, as well as how to read and interpret the various technical data that is sent with it, see this article by Pilots for 9/11 Truth.  To summarize, it is possible to determine an approximate flight path or geographical location based upon which tower – or remote ground station – handles and routes a text message to a plane, just as your local 911 operator can determine your general location based upon cellular tower location.

What Pilots for 9/11 Truth have discovered, is data messaging evidence that places United Flight 93, tail number N591UA, in the vicinity of Champaign, Illinois after the time of its alleged crash.  Champaign, IL is 500+ miles away from the supposed crash site in Shanksville, PA.  This information is further corroborated by (now former) United Airlines Manager of Flight Dispatch, Michael J. Winter.

On January 28th, 2002, Mr. Winter gave an interview to the FBI at United Headquarters.  During this interview, Mr. Winter reviewed a list of ACARS messages, explaining the contents, and which messages were received or rejected by the plane.  The messages provided below are the most significant and fatal to what we have been told by the 9/11 Commission.  Two messages were routed through the Fort Wayne, Indiana remote ground stations (FWA), followed by two more messages which were routed through Champaign, IL (CMI), showing a westward flight path – away from Shanksville.

In order to understand the data contained within the messages, I’ve highlighted the pertinent information in red:

  • The closest remote ground station used to route the message to the aircraft – in this case, it was either FWA or CMI,
  • The time and date in which the messages were sent – 111351, meaning the 11th of Sept, at 1351 Zulu or 0951 am Eastern,
  • The flight number – UA93, and the tail number of the airplane in which the message is intended – N591UA.
  • The underlined date and time at the bottom is when the message was received by the airplane.  Although the first two appear to be identical, the message number at the end denotes that they are in fact two separate messages, which is highlighted in blue.
  • CHIDD ED BALLINGER denotes that air traffic controller Ed Ballinger sent the messages from the Chicago, IL Dispatch.

Keep in mind that according to the 9/11 Commission Report, United Airlines Flight 93 crashed into the ground at 10:03 am, Eastern time – or 1403 Zulu.  The airplane acknowledged text messages at 9:51 am, 10:10 am, and 10:11 am, denoting no technical problems or malfunctions and for all intents and purposes, still airborne and operational.

Using data from the first article that Pilots for 9/11 Truth wrote on this topic, and based on flight tracking, United Flight 93 should not have had messages routed through either Fort Wayne, Indiana or Champaign, Illinois at the given times if it were supposedly in and around Shanksville, Pennsylvania, about to crash.  Many other stations are much closer, if in fact United 93 did crash there.

In order to follow the messages based on remote ground stations, we have included the Google Earth File used to construct the various stations and associated messages, with an overlay of the United 93 flight path according to the National Transportation Safety Board.

There are 10 remote ground stations closer to the flight path than FWA, even more if we include the stations between FWA and the CMI station in Illinois, which is nearly 500 miles from the Shanksville crater.  It should be noted that the remote ground stations only have a general range of approximately 200 miles under ideal circumstances, so even if one were to surmise the disparity was due to technical issues or “busy traffic,” these ground stations could not physically get a message to the plane due to shear distance.  The plane would have to be within this general 200 mile range.  And according to United Flight Manager, Mr. Winter, Flight 93 received messages from the CMI remote ground station in Champaign, IL more than 7 minutes after the alleged crash.  The “audible signal” that is mentioned below denotes that the air traffic controller included a command line in the message that activated an alarm the pilots could hear in order to get their attention.  Mr. Winter explains –

We now have several levels of corroboration demonstrating the aircraft was still airborne and received data messages after its alleged crash -

- Ground station routing based on flight tracking protocols,
– Expert statements,
– And now, messages that were received well out of range from Shanksville, PA after the time of the alleged crash.

It is this author’s opinion, and that of dozens of highly reputable former and current pilots, that United Airlines Flight 93 was airborne long after its alleged crash.

Further corroborating evidence, explored in other articles, include -

- Statements from the Somerset County Medical Examiner that only 8% of the human remains were recovered, and that the rest vaporized upon impact, including a lack of blood.  He stated that all 44 people aboard were essentially cremated instantly in the fiery explosion from the plane striking the ground at ~575mph.

– Although teeth and bones were unable to be recovered, a highly implausible number of paper documents purporting to identify the suspects of flight UA93 were conveniently found at the crash site.1  The incriminating items included the passport of alleged hijacker Al Ghamdi,2 alleged hijacker Alnami’s Florida Driver’s License3, his Saudi Arabian Youth Hostel Association ID card4, a visa page from alleged hijacker Ziad Jarrah’s passport5, and a business card of Jarrah’s uncle.6  Also discovered at the crash site was a “five page Arabic document [with] details regarding the strategy and preparation required to conduct a hijacking.7

- The flight data recorder shows UA93 at 40 degrees pitch down and -5 degrees Angle of Attack upon impact into soft ground.  At the crash site, we observe a deep crater from a nearly 90 degree, vertical impact.  Eyewitnesses state that the plane fell straight down out of the sky, consistent with the crater.  At a 35-40 degree pitch, we would observe a long ditch-like impact, scattering debris in a line mostly.

– and many, many more inconsistencies.  Flight 77, which struck the Pentagon, has some very glaring inconsistencies, as well – such as the flight data showing the cockpit door was never opened during flight, thereby negating any possible way for the hijackers to gain control of the plane or supposedly herd the passengers, crew, and pilots to the back of the plane.  We also note ACARS irregularities with Flight 175 and its true location at the time of impact.

I urge you to research this issue and ask questions.  I won’t point the finger at anyone, but I will certainly point out the glaring contradictions and impossibilities contained with the 9/11 Commission Report.  Demand a new investigation so that the souls who were lost on that fateful day can be laid to rest.
