“…it would be far more preferable if the United States could cite an Iranian provocation as justification for the airstrikes before launching them. Clearly, the more outrageous, the more deadly, and the more unprovoked the Iranian action, the better off the United States would be. Of course, it would be very difficult for the United States to goad Iran into such a provocation without the rest of the world recognizing this game, which would then undermine it. (One method that would have some possibility of success would be to ratchet up covert regime change efforts in the hope that Tehran would retaliate overtly, or even semi-overtly, which could then be portrayed as an unprovoked act of Iranian aggression.) ”

-US foreign policy makers in the Fortune 500-funded Brookings Institution’sWhich Path to Persia?” report, pages 84-85.

Hayden’s Note:

I’d like to remind everyone that Defense Sec. Leon Panetta (Former CIA Director) just stated in Jan. 2012, that Iran is nearly a year away from a nuclear weapon.

Considering that the Gulf of Tonken incident was a deliberate fabrication to escalate the Vietnam War, one many members in Congress are shown to have acknowledged and debated even at the time, or the more recent Iraqi WMD hoax, there is certainly a historical precedence to create such provocations when targeted nations refuse to provide them....

37 Reasons to Avoid Genetically Modified Foods

Posted on Jan 31, 2012 in Featured Articles, Health, Food News, & Big Pharma

Kevin Hayden –

The adulteration and modification of some of the planet’s most widely used crops has changed our food landscape.  Chemicals, preservatives, genetic modification and low-cost substitutions and fillers have wrecked meals that were once healthy for us.  Stepping inside of a grocery store nowadays, we find ourselves in a dangerous and toxic new world.  The introduction of genetically modified organisms into the food supply in the 1990′s, coupled with rampant use of carcinogens such as aspartame, and substitutions like high fructose corn syrup, set the perfect stage to form a deadly concoction known as processed food.  Sadly, this is what encompasses the average American diet.

Genetically modified foods are now found in approximately 80% of all food in a typical grocery store.

What Exactly is a GMO?

A GMO, or genetically modified organism, is the result of a laboratory process of taking genes from one species and inserting them into another in an attempt to obtain a desired trait or characteristic, hence they are also known as transgenic organisms. This process may be called either Genetic Engineering (GE) or Genetic Modification (GM); they are one and the same....

FDA Intercepts Whistleblower Emails Warning Congress About Dangerous Medical Devices, Fires All Scientists

The Food and Drug Administration secretly monitored the personal e-mail of a group of its own scientists and doctors after they warned Congress that the agency was approving medical devices that they believed posed unacceptable risks to patients, government documents show.

The surveillance — detailed in e-mails and memos unearthed by six of the scientists and doctors, who filed a lawsuit against the FDA in U.S. District Court in Washington last week — took place over two years as the plaintiffs accessed their personal Gmail accounts from government computers.

Information garnered this way eventually contributed to the harassment or dismissal of all six of the FDA employees, the suit alleges. All had worked in an office responsible for reviewing devices for cancer screening and other purposes.

Copies of the e-mails show that, starting in January 2009, the FDA intercepted communications with congressional staffers and draft versions of whistleblower complaints complete with editing notes in the margins. The agency also took electronic snapshots of the computer desktops of the FDA employees and reviewed documents they saved on the hard drives of their government computers....

How to Escape From Zip Ties – with videos and pictures

In our, ‘How To Escape and Evade in an Urban Environment’ article, we briefly discussed escaping from zip ties.  There are quite a few hasty methods of illegal restraint, and zip ties are a method that’s available to any would-be kidnapper and are the “new” handcuffs for law enforcement.

There are two things you’ll need in any escape situation, and without these two things, nothing we show you will work.

Those two things are time and opportunity. You’ll first need time to put one of these escape methods into action and then the opportunity to do so.

Your captors are most likely not going to have the resources or the patience to keep eyes on you constantly, and when they don’t, it’s time to make your move.

How Zip Ties Work

How to Escape Zip Ties 02The best way to defeat any type of restraint is to first analyze how it works.

Zip ties consist of a sturdy Nylon tape that contains small teeth running lengthwise down one side, and a ratchet with small teeth housed in a small open case....

Even more embarrassing than a student discovering your GPS tracking device on his car, as the FBI found out last year, is having to ask him to give the expensive piece of equipment back.

So security researcher Brendan O’Connor is trying a different approach to spy hardware: building a sensor-equipped surveillance-capable computer that’s so cheap it can be sacrificed after one use, with off-the-shelf parts that anyone can buy and assemble for less than fifty dollars.

At the Shmoocon security conference Friday in Washington D.C., O’Connor plans to present the F-BOMB, or Falling or Ballistically-launched Object that Makes Backdoors. Built from just the hardware in a commercially-available PogoPlug mini-computer, a few tiny antennae, eight gigabytes of flash memory and some 3D-printed plastic casing, the F-BOMB serves as 3.5 by 4 by 1 inch spy computer. And O’Connor has designed the cheap gadgets to dropped from a drone, plugged inconspicuously into a wall socket, thrown over a barrier, or otherwise put into irretrievable positions to quietly collect data and send it back to the owner over any available Wifi network....

The Justice Department is funding an unusual national training program to help police deal with an increasing number of volatile confrontations involving highly trained and often heavily armed combat veterans.

Developers of the pilot program, to be launched at 15 U.S. sites this year, said there is an “urgent need” to de-escalate crises in which even SWAT teams may be facing tactical disadvantages against mentally ill suspects who also happen to be trained in modern warfare.

“We just can’t use the blazing-guns approach anymore when dealing with disturbed individuals who are highly trained in all kinds of tactical operations, including guerrilla warfare,” said Dennis Cusick, executive director of the Upper Midwest Community Policing Institute. “That goes beyond the experience of SWAT teams.”

This begs the question, “What did you think would happen when kids are brainwashed into slaughtering civilians or going back for 4+ tours in a war zone?”

What did you expect these soldiers to do for a living when they return home?  What did you think might occur to sufferers of PTSD?...

Study Reveals How Aluminium Promotes Cancer Growth Thumbnail

Study Reveals How Aluminium Promotes Cancer Growth

Hayden’s Note towards end of article

We are all unwillingly exposed to a range of cancer-causing chemicals and substances every day. One substance that the globalists and government don’t want you know about that could be causing you considerable harm and health problems is aluminium.

The fact is most people are exposed to aluminium on a daily basis. Very little is publicized about the risks and dangers of being exposed to aluminium, and most of us are unaware of how many common products use aluminium as a medium of storage or control.

New research published in the Journal of Applied Toxicology has revealed that long-term exposure of MCF-10A human mammary epithelial cells to aluminium results in anchorage-independent growth, a key hallmark of cultured tumour cells and of cells on the way to malignant transformation. This study also found that shorter (7 days) exposure to aluminium results in diminished cell numbers owing to cellular senescence.

A commonly used household product that contains aluminium is deodorant (antiperspirants). The aluminium contaminant found in most antiperspirants is Aluminium Chlorohydrate.

Most Americans would consider the following report to be nothing out of the ordinary. But for those in the know, given what has transpired over the last several years, it raises alarm bells:

Joint military training exercises will be held evenings in downtown Los Angeles through Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The LAPD will be providing support for the exercises, which will also be held in other portions of the greater Los Angeles area, police said.

Training sites “have been carefully selected to ensure the event does not negatively impact the citizens of Los Angeles and their daily routine,” a department official said.

The training, which a department official said would involve helicopters, has been coordinated with local authorities and owners of the training sites, police said.

Police said safety precautions have been taken to prevent risk to the general public and military personnel involved.

The exercises are closed to the public, police said.

The exercises are designed to ensure the military’s ability to operate in urban environments, prepare forces for upcoming overseas deployments, and meet mandatory training certification requirements, police said.

Psychology, TSA, and the Police State: the Tip of the Spear

Kevin Hayden –

This week, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul was detained by the TSA in Nashville after refusing to be fondled by the airport agents.

Paul has been a vocal enemy of the TSA, blasting the agency last year after agents conducted an invasive search of a 6-year old girl despite her parents’ objections. TSA Director John Pistole suggested that, because a young child in Afghanistan is capable of detonating a roadside bomb, all children should be considered potential threats.

Paul raised the issue again yesterday in an opinion piece. As usual, the Obama administration closed ranks around the TSA yesterday, defending the agency and insisting that “we take necessary actions to ensure that air travel is safe.” Such as treating 6-year old girls like criminal terrorists.

Air travel is never going to be safe. We’re talking about a 500,000 pound flying building crammed with hundreds of strangers criss-crossing the skies nearly 100,000 times in a single day. There’s a lot of room for things to go wrong.

Criminalizing travel, which is the effective net result of the current passenger screening process, has minimal impact on weeding out the boogeyman....

The Senators and Representatives shall receive a Compensation for their Services, to be ascertained by Law, and paid out of the Treasury of the United States. They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony, and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.

Constitution of the United States
Article 1, Section 6

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) was refused entry into a secured area of the Nashville Airport today after he reportedly rejected a TSA pat-down. According to the Senator, he was “detained” by TSA and forced to miss his flight. Mr. Paul cited the U.S. Constitution, specifically Article 1, Section 6 that clearly protects Senators and Representatives from arrest if they are on their way to, or returning from, a session of their respective House.

US Sen. Rand Paul says he was stopped briefly by TSA agents security at the Nashville airport when a scanner found an “anomaly” on his knee.

Dangerous Amounts: How Much Sugar Are You Consuming?

Source: Activist Post – Mike Barrett

On average, Americans consume 475 calories worth of added sugars each day. That is about 30 teaspoons, or 5x more than even the American Heart Association recommends.

The disturbing aspect is that if nothing changes, the rampant sugar consumption continues, and cumulatively begins bearing down on your health in the form of diseases like diabetes and cancer.

Just how much sugar are you consuming on a daily basis?

Keep in mind that the recommended amount of sugar to consume on a daily basis is 25 grams.

Hayden’s Note:

If you are a fan of the Primal lifestyle or Paleo diet, you’ll realize that even 25 grams of sugar is quite a bit when coming from refined sources.  Eat more fruit, you’ll satiate that desire for sweetness while getting digestable fiber, vitamins, and feel better!

It is common knowledge that soda, sweets, ice cream, and other similar foods are loaded with sugar. In fact, an average bottle of Coke contains over 60g of sugar, and an 8oz Snapple contains up to 23g of sugar....

Truth Twisted into Treason – 17 Reasons I Haven’t Filed an Income Tax Return

Posted on Jan 23, 2012 in Alphabet Agencies & Operations, Constitutional & Liberty Issues, Economic News

Kevin Hayden –

Written by Will Kesler – Truth Contributor

1. Accepting a commission in the USAF, I solemnly swore an oath to God that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic and that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same. Therefore, I have publicly refused to file an income tax return for the past 12 years. If brought before a jury of my peers, the following will be my defense against charges stemming from my decision not to file an income tax return.

2. Mens Rea, or “guilty mind,” is a central distinguishing feature of criminal law. Criminal liability generally requires not only causing a prohibited harm or evil . . . but also a particular state of mind, an act done with a bad purpose or evil intent. Therefore, it is essential to explain my intent in allegedly violating Section 7203 of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC).

  • In fact, during the 12 years I have not filed a return, I published over a dozen columns in the Aspen Daily News, self-published a book, marched in parades, and spent days on the Pitkin County Court House steps.
