Preparedness Expo – October 22nd, 2011 in Oklahoma

Kevin Hayden –

I’m reposting this in order to remind everyone – the Preparedness Expo is this weekend in the Oklahoma City metro.

My good friend, Mark Smith, over at Southern Plains Consulting, has been busy putting together another Preparedness Expo here in the Oklahoma City area.  Last spring, I helped host the first one and it was a great event.  I met a lot of really great, like-minded people, not to mention one of my advertisers, Homespun Environmental!

This October 22nd, we’re hosting a second one!  There are a lot more vendors this time and it will be indoors!  This is going to be a great chance to network and meet new people, discover some really great products, and attend free workshops!  Plus, you get to meet your’s truly! Kevin Hayden! – Continue reading to hear about the workshops and events scheduled!

The event will be October 22nd, at the American Legion Post at 5000 S.E. 24th, Del City, Oklahoma!  The Expo will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Cost is $5.00 per person or only $8.00 per couple.  Included in the admission price are numerous classes and workshops!

The classes range from how to cook with long-term storage food to essential oils, raising chickens, developing a sustainble food supply and gardening, all the way to long-term community building.  There will be prizes and raffles, including silver coins and more!

Be sure and attend if you are anywhere in the tri-state area.  It will certainly be worth it!  This is the vendor and table list, but we’ve already booked more than what is listed!  Interest continues to build and we have more signing up each week, such as We Are Change Oklahoma, Emeryld Suds, and several others!  Bring your bartering goods and make a deal!
