Sometimes, I just don’t have the words to describe the utter nonsense I hear from some people.

This man seems to be a “leader” within his small Occupy group as I’ve seen him on NUMEROUS YouTube videos leading marches, chants, general assemblies, and more.  There are hundreds, if not thousands, who follow this blond-haired, pimple-faced Sociology major who espouses an incredible disdain for personal freedom and liberty.  Instead, he promotes a State-led, subserviant lifestyle “where the government injects cash into people’s bank accounts.”  What he forgets is that the Constitution clearly states that Congress shall have the power of the purse, not a private banking cartel who works on Wall Street; the very street he claims to be protesting!

“Freedom from want…,” as he describes it.  I call it a lazy Utopian fantasy.  Continued below…

But that’s just my opinion.  I’m sure Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Andrew Jackson, Benjamin Franklin, and many more would agree with me.  Keynesian economics and quantitative easing has not, nor will it, help the economy....

As the Occupy Wall Street events continue to expand and unfold, I’ve tried to keep tabs on my local event, Occupy OKC.  When this first started, I was elated at the idea of the common People finally getting off of their couch and protesting their grievances towards an out of control government.  But I was sadly mistaken.  Instead, as each new day passes, I hear and see more of these protesters demanding rights and privileges that I would be willing to take up arms to fight against.  The very problems that got me involved in politics and protesting are what most of the Occupy protesters are wanting.

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude more than the animating contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” – Samuel Adams

I posted this on the TruthisTreason.net Facebook page, but figured I’d make an actual article out of it since it was so well received.

In this video, Adam Kokesh (Formally the host of RT’s Adam vs. The Man) interviews the leader of Food, Not Bombs regarding the Parks Service harassing him for giving away free apples to nearby protesters.  They informed him this was against the law.  However, if he were giving away oranges or bananas, it would be fine.  An interesting bit towards the end is when the leader reveals that his grandfather had actually been a senior Parks Service member and had been responsible for securing the tract of land that was later turned into that particular National Park....

Hayden’s Note:

As you read this article, please keep in mind that it is the underlying issue that is important.  Your opinion on Iraq, the War on Terror, “al-Qaeda,” and Obama should be left at the door.  What is being discussed here is the unlawful, unconstitutional “hit” that was ordered by our Executive Department.  All US citizens, no matter their current religion, location, idealogy, or actions, are to be given due process.  Our government has made a habit out of using “state secrets” and the War on Terror as an excuse to skirt the Constitution and follow the Rule of Law.

If you will not question the actions of this government when it unlawfully kills one of its citizens, good or bad, you have no grounds to stand on when it treads upon you and your family.  For further opinion on whether al-Awlaki was still an American citizen, ...

Ron Paul and the 10th Amendment at the FOX / Google GOP Debate

Posted on Sep 23, 2011 in Political Issues

Short and sweet.  During the FOX / Google GOP Debate, Ron Paul is asked what he would do as President in order to restore and assist the 10th Amendment.

“There’s growing concern among Americans about the size and scope of the federal government and it’s infringement upon state and individual rights. If you’re elected president, how do you plan to restore the 10th Amendment, hold the federal government only to those enumerated powers in the Constitution, and allow states to govern themselves.”

His answer?  Veto everything that violates the Constitution.  I was a bit shocked to see how well the crowd received his response.

And here are all of Congressman Ron Paul’s answers condensed into 7 minutes. Yes, that’s all he the time he was afforded to speak once again, however, the polls show he still emerged as the debate winner.

War Mongering Globalist Neo-Cons Need Not Apply to (the Original) Tea Party

Originally posted February, 2010 –

Dear Republicans, Conservatives and GOP Members,

Get your own party and stop trying to hijack my Tea Party.

The Tea Party Movement is made up of Libertarians, Constitutionalists and lovers of Freedom.  It was built upon the grassroots’ effort to elect Ron Paul in 2008 and was borne from Dr. Paul’s Campaign for Liberty.

We don’t want you.  You are merely a War Mongering, Corporate Neo-Con, easily distracted by the Left / Right paradigm.

Get your own ideals.  Develop your own opinion.  Forge your own identity and stop trying to ride the wagon of our success simply because you’re scared of the black man at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman are not Libertarians.  Glenn Beck is not a Patriot.  Rush Limbaugh is not a member of the Tea party.  Rick Perry is a mockingbird-shill, given the nod by the Global Elite.

They are simply corporate whores, nothing else.

Sincerely,

Kevin Hayden...

FDA Says You Have No Fundamental Right to Grow or Eat Healthy Food, It’s a Privilege

Here’s a quick follow-up article to the one posted a few days ago about the Rawesome Food Club raid. Carefully read the statement issued by the Food and Drug Administration.

Note: Below, ‘Plaintiffs’ refers to James Stewart, Rawesome’s founder, Sharon Palmer, owner of Healthy Family Farms, and Victoria Bloch. The trio were charged with the production and sale of unpasteurized goat milk, goat cheese, and other products; and with “mislabeling cheese.” They were also charged with four counts of conspiracy to commit a crime.

According to the FDA…

“Plaintiffs’ assertion of a new ‘fundamental right’ to produce, obtain, and consume unpasteurized milk lacks any support in law.

“There is no ‘deeply rooted’ historical tradition of unfettered access to foods of all kinds.”

“Plaintiffs’ assertion of a ‘fundamental right to their own bodily and physical health, which includes what foods they do and do not choose to consume for themselves and their families,’ is similarly unavailing because plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to obtain any food they wish.”

Freedoms I Wish the Military Were Defending

We have heard it repeated loudly and continuously since 9/11 – “the troops are defending our freedoms.”  This claim is made so often and by so many different segments of society that it has become another meaningless national dictum – like “God Bless America” or “In God We Trust.”

This cliché is actually quite insidious. It is used as a mantra to justify or excuse anything the U.S. military does.

U.S. troops are engaged in unconstitutional, undeclared wars – but the troops are defending our freedoms. U.S. drone strikes killed civilians in Pakistan – but the troops are defending our freedoms. U.S. bombs landed on a wedding party in Afghanistan – but the troops are defending our freedoms. U.S. soldiers murdered Afghan civilians and kept some of their body parts – but the troops are defending our freedoms. U.S. helicopter pilots gunned down Iraqi and European civilians – but the troops are defending our freedoms. U.S. soldiers killed civilians for sport – but the troops are defending our freedoms....

Battle in the Desert – Govt Forces Numerous Homeowners Off Their Lands

Just because you hold the deed to a piece of land doesn’t mean that you own it.  These days, we are faced with an ever- increasing presence and implementation of the United Nations Agenda 21 plan and eminent domain laws.  If you become a political target on any number of levels, various tax laws can be used against you in order to strip you of your real estate, your homestead and your dreams.  Nuisance laws and municipal code enforcement can penalize you to the point of bankruptcy or forfeiture of your house.

Something so basic as private property laws have become a playground for government lawyers and aspiring politicians, where they perverse the common definitions and commit blatant theft in the name of “beautification projects,” new highways, strip malls and to appease some arbitrary, obscure law.

Just because something is written into legislation doesn’t mean that it’s legal, moral, ethical or Constitutional.  Hopefully people will begin to get angry enough to start doing something about this.  Perhaps it will take another Ruby Ridge for this topic to be brought back into the mainstream.  ...

White House: “There Are Things He Can Do Without Congress and He Will Do Them”

(Not sure if this video is going to work.  If not, I’ll get it corrected later this evening.  You’re not missing much unless you are a fan of watching the squirrely little Jay Carney act smug and better than everyone.  Scroll down for a brief transcription.)

JAY CARNEY, White House Press Secretary: “They don’t give a lick about the day and time:

ED HENRY, FOX News: “Why doesn’t he give a speech from the oval office tonight saying here’s my plan?”

CARNEY: “He wants to speak before Congress because he recognizes that while there are things he can do without Congress, and he will do them, there are actions that need to be taken with Congress that require legislation to grow the economy and create jobs. And he wants to go to Congress, speak directly to members of Congress, and layout his proposals.”...

Detroit Mom in Armed Standoff with SWAT and Big Pharma Cleared of Charges, State Still Kidnaps Child

Posted on Aug 31, 2011 in Constitutional & Liberty Issues, Health, Food News, & Big Pharma

Kevin Hayden – TruthisTreason.net

All charges have been dropped against Detroit mom Maryanne Godboldo, the woman who was raided by SWAT teams when Child Protective Services attempted to kidnap her daughter because Maryanne refused to “treat” her with psychiatric medications. An armed standoff ensued, and Maryanne ultimately walked out of her house and was charged with multiple felony counts (http://www.naturalnews.com/032090_M…).

In court proceedings yesterday, all charges were dropped against Maryanne. After the decision was rendered, she said, “I was very pleased with what happened today and I’m pleased Judge Giles ruled in the way that he did because justice prevailed.”

The state of Michigan, however, still has custody of her daughter, so this battle is not yet won. In fact, I say that the battle is not won until the CPS workers and police officers who conducted the raid are, themselves, brought up on felony charges of attempting kidnapping.

Godboldo’s court proceedings reveal the details of how the thuggish, criminally-operated state broke the law in its effort to kidnap her daughter.

Low-IQ cops follow orders after looking at scrap of paper

What this case reveals is that low-IQ cops, who will apparently follow any orders without any sense of whether their orders are legal, were presented with a scrap of paper by a CPS caseworker who claimed it was some kind of order authorizing the state to use force to take away Godboldo’s daughter.

Ron Paul Exposes the Deficit Lies: “Cuts are Illusory, Not from Current Amounts Spent But from Projected Spending Increases”

Posted on Aug 01, 2011 in Constitutional & Liberty Issues, Economic News, Featured Articles

TruthisTreason.net – Kevin Hayden

Source: Ron Paul & Zero Hedge

One might think that the recent drama over the debt ceiling involves one side wanting to increase or maintain spending with the other side wanting to drastically cut spending, but that is far from the truth.  In spite of the rhetoric being thrown around, the real debate is over how much government spending will increase.

No plan under serious consideration cuts spending in the way you and I think about it.  Instead, the “cuts” being discussed are illusory, and are not cuts from current amounts being spent, but cuts in projected spending increases.  This is akin to a family “saving” $100,000 in expenses by deciding not to buy a Lamborghini, and instead getting a fully loaded Mercedes, when really their budget dictates that they need to stick with their perfectly serviceable Honda.  But this is the type of math Washington uses to mask the incriminating truth about their unrepentant plundering of the American people.

The truth is that frightening rhetoric about default and full faith and credit of the United States is being carelessly thrown around to ram through a bigger budget than ever, in spite of stagnant revenues. ...

Woman Faces 93 days in Jail for Planting Garden in Front Yard *UPDATE*

UPDATE July 15th, 2011: The Detroit News

Charges against the woman who planted a vegetable garden in her front yard have been dropped, her attorney said Thursday.

But other charges against Julie Bass have been resurrected for not having licenses for her two dogs — even though she took care of that issue, lawyer Solomon Radner said.

Hayden’s Note:

According to Bass’ blog, she took care of the dog issue long ago just in *case* the city tried to seek additional charges.  City code only allows citizens two dogs and they must be licensed; she has two dogs and made sure the licenses were current at the very beginning of this ordeal, so I’m not sure what this is all about.  This story has gone viral across the alternative media spectrum and I fully believe that due to your phone calls, emails and the national attention that Oak Park city officials received, they backed off of their absurd assertion barring this lady from growing vegetables and instead, attacked something that didn’t sound quite so absurd, yet trivial anyway.

Iceland Citizens Tell Europe to Pound Sand, Declares Independence from International Bankers

Iceland is free.  And it will remain so, so long as her people wish to remain autonomous of the foreign domination of her would-be masters — in this case, international bankers.

On April 9, the fiercely independent people of island-nation defeated a referendum that would have bailed out the UK and the Netherlands who had covered the deposits of British and Dutch investors who had lost funds in Icesave bank in 2008.

At the time of the bank’s failure, Iceland refused to cover the losses.  But the UK and Netherlands nonetheless have demanded that Iceland repay them for the “loan” as a condition for admission into the European Union.

In response, the Icelandic people have told Europe to go pound sand. The final vote was 103,207 to 69,462, or 58.9 percent to 39.7 percent.   “Taxpayers should not be responsible for paying the debts of a private institution,” said Sigriur Andersen, a spokeswoman for the Advice group that opposed the bailout.

Hayden’s Note:

I’ll keep this addendum short: Hellz yes.  Good job, Iceland!
