The shooting happened January 17th when Officer Chansey McMillin tried to search Terence Walker outside a church, according to KOTV. Police had been called to the wedding due to reports of a disturbance between Walker and a woman identified as either his girlfriend or ex-girlfriend. Pastor Andre Jones made the 911 call, and told police “he’s here with a gun,” The Oklahoman reported.

Hayden’s Note: Bitcoins, the FBI, and Tangible Goods

Posted on Dec 19, 2013 in Alphabet Agencies & Operations, Blog, Editorials, & Thoughts, Economic News, Emergency Preparedness & Survival, Federal Reserve & Bankers

Who owns the single largest Bitcoin wallet on the internet? The U.S. government.

In September, the FBI shut down the Silk Road online drug marketplace, and it started seizing bitcoins belonging to the Dread Pirate Roberts — the operator of the illicit online marketplace, who they say is an American man named Ross Ulbricht.

The FBI now controls more than 144,000 bitcoins that reside at a bitcoin address that consolidates much of the seized Silk Road bitcoins. Those 144,000 bitcoins are worth close to $100 million at Tuesday’s exchange rates. Another address, containing Silk Road funds seized earlier by the FBI, contains nearly 30,000 bitcoins ($20 million).

Hayden’s Note:

I’ve had email after email asking for my opinion on Bitcoin and if readers should invest in the digital currency. In it’s early days, I mined for some Bitcoin myself. As time went on, I read more and more about the likelihood that Bitcoin was merely a law enforcement or intelligence honeypot and I continue to believe that.

There is also speculation that various intel agencies use the currency in order to launder their own money in order to fund clandestine operations.

Wildcat, Boston Dynamic’s Newest DARPA Robot, is a Load Bearing, Galloping, Metal Beast

Posted on Oct 18, 2013 in Alphabet Agencies & Operations, Movies, TV, & Video Games, Police, Military, & War, Science & Technology

Kevin Hayden –

This month’s hulking, Skynet killer robot is the Wildcat. Designed and built with funding from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Boston Dynamics continues to improve upon previous designs such as the Cheetah and the Big Dog. Wildcat is a four-legged, load-bearing robot able to gallop, run, and turn corners at relatively impressive speeds.

“It is being developed to run fast on all types of terrain. So far, WildCat has run at about 16 mph on flat terrain using bounding and galloping gaits. The video shows WildCat’s best performance so far,” Boston Dynamics reports.

If you are familiar with basic human anatomy or robotic design, you realize how difficult it is to recreate the natural human gait, or walking gesture. Boston Dynamics has created several upright, bi-ped robots, such as PetMan and Atlas, that do a great job at mimicking the human walk, as well as climbing stairs and maintaining balance while traversing obstacles. Creating a four-legged beast that can maintain it’s balance, speed, and center of gravity, over uneven terrain and environments, is no easy task, either....

Reporters to Expose NSA’s Significant Role in US Assassination Program

Two American journalists are working together to expose the role of the National Security Agency in what they described as a “US assassination program.” Contributor to The Nation magazine, Jeremy Scahill, and Glenn Greenwald, who first reported Edward Snowden’s PRISM revelations, are working on the project.

“The connections between war and surveillance are clear. I don’t want to give too much away but Glenn and I are working on a project right now that has at its center how the National Security Agency plays a significant, central role in the US assassination program,” Scahill said on Saturday.

“There are so many stories that are yet to be published that we hope will produce ‘actionable intelligence,’ or information that ordinary citizens across the world can use to try to fight for change, to try to confront those in power,” he added.

Greenwald was the first journalist who broke the revelations about US spying programs based on documents leaked by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden.

“The really important thing to realize is the desire for surveillance is not a uniquely American attribute,” Greenwald was quoted as saying by the Associated Press....

Your Factory Food: The Most Eye Opening Six Minutes on Film

Six minutes of high-definition mesmerization, taking you deep within our food factories.

This is where your hamburgers come from, your bacon, your nuggets (in part), your hotdogs, your turkey, your chicken breasts, and every other meat product that is processed in large volume.

This video and article does not serve some far-left, liberal, vegan agenda. I eat chicken, turkey, fish, and occasionally beef, if local, and I am not atop some fantastic soapbox preaching about the evils of eating meat. You’re a grown human, and you can make your own decisions on what to feed yourself. I will, however, offer a glimpse into how that meat gets to your dinner plate or local fast-food joint. I will point out that it is wholly unsustainable. I will inform you that it is disgusting, atrocious, and often times, inhumane.

Take it for what you will, but please consider doing yourself, and the world at large, a favor, and begin shopping locally. Buy direct from local, humane farms. Better yet, buy from organic, truly free-ranged farms....

Breaking the Matrix: Russell Brand on MSNBC’s Morning Joe

I had never heard of Russell Brand until recently, but he’s about to become a household name across America thanks to his delusion-busting performance as a guest on MSNBC’s Morning Joe program where he “ripped them all a new one” according to comments posted on YouTube.

Allow me to explain: MSNBC is a news show with a huge budget and almost no viewers. It is hosted by what can only be called a “band of retards” who have absolutely nothing useful to say… ever!

Today they made the mistake of inviting a guest on their show (Russell Brand) whose IQ exceeds the sum of all the other IQs of everybody else in the room. Brand proceeded to cleverly smash through their boring senseless chatter, take over the news reporting without using a teleprompter, profile the secret sexual fantasies of the female host, and mock them all without them even realizing they were being mocked.

“This is a hotbed of neurosis and psychosis… I’m grateful to be here,” Brand says to the other three hosts at one point, and they have zero reaction seemingly because they don’t understand the multi-syllabic words he’s using....

NSA PRISM Whistleblower Edward Snowden: Truth is Treason

Posted on Jun 10, 2013 in Alphabet Agencies & Operations, Constitutional & Liberty Issues, Police, Military, & War, Science & Technology, Social Networking

Kevin Hayden –

Ed Snowden, a 29-year old, former CIA analyst and defense contractor talks about the intelligence community, NSA capabilities, and why he blew the whistle on the government’s secretive activities.

Snowden left a $200,000 a year job, stationed in Hawaii, in order to provide this information. He now potentially faces treason charges if he is not protected under whistleblower exceptions, and mentions the possibility of being “rendered” by the CIA as he camps out in Hong Kong awaiting the government’s next move.

For the preppers, the hikers, military, police, construction workers, gardeners, cowboys, home builders, cooks, DIY’er, and anybody who has ever spilled something:

Ultra-Ever Dry is a superhydrophobic (water) and oleophobic (hydrocarbons) coating that will completely repel almost any liquid. It uses proprietary nanotechnology to coat an object and create a barrier of air on its surface. This barrier repels water, oil and other liquids unlike any coating seen before.

Hayden’s Note:

I am *amazed.* Imagine coating your house, car, shoes, or anything else that you never want to clean again!

Disclosure: I do not have any ties to the company or product showcased, I just wanted to share!...

[Video] Police Shoot Man 3 Times Immediately Upon Entering House: Hayden’s Note & the Failed War on Drugs

Posted on Feb 05, 2013 in Constitutional & Liberty Issues, Police, Military, & War

Kevin Hayden –

A joint drug task force from Weber and Morgan county, Utah, executed a search warrant on Todd Blair’s house on September 16th, 2010, resulting in the shooting death of Blair only two seconds after entry was made.

The “Weber-Morgan Strike Force” initiated an investigation into Blair’s residence with a focus on his roommate, Melanie Chournos. Police stated in their application for warrant that Ms. Chournos would likely destroy evidence upon their arrival, and requested a night time, “no-knock warrant” for the squirrely female.  However, prior to the raid, law enforcement became aware of the fact Blair’s roommate had moved out of the house.  With warrant already in hand, or rather, still back at the police station, the Strike Force decided to conduct the night time raid anyway.

Friends and family of Mr. Blair plainly admit to his drug usage, but said he was a drug addict and not a drug dealer.

After the SWAT team hit the door three times in an attempt to open it, and as the video clearly shows, Mr. Blair appears in a far hallway, shirtless, and with a golf club in his hands....

Homesteading with a Shipping Container, Part 9: Installing the Simple Pump Thumbnail

Homesteading with a Shipping Container, Part 9: Installing the Simple Pump

Water is one of the most strategic preps that one can have should the grid go down or we find ourselves caught in the middle of a disaster. All other preparedness plans fail without it, and even if you stock bottled water or have spare filters, if it is a prolonged emergency, eventually you will run out.

That’s where a water pump comes into play. For those with land or a retreat, even a water well in your backyard, if you are relying on electric or motorized pumps to fill your needs, have you developed an alternative energy plan? Do you have a back-up plan when those solar panels get damaged or your batteries are dead?

I believe in having a back-up for my back-ups, and when assessing my water situation at my off-grid, shipping container homestead – the Elysian Fields Project, I decided to cut out the middle man and install a manual water pump as my primary plan.

Should we encounter a prolonged grid-down event, or EMP, this pump will continue delivering water as long as I can pump the handle!...

Sheriff Says 911 Isn’t Best Option; Safety No Longer a Spectator Sport, “I Need You in the Game”

Posted on Jan 29, 2013 in Constitutional & Liberty Issues, Emergency Preparedness & Survival, Police, Military, & War

Kevin Hayden –

Milwaukee area Sheriff David Clarke released a public service announcement urging citizens to seek firearm training and fight back against the criminal elements that seek to do them harm.

In the PSA, Sheriff Clarke cites recent police cutbacks and layoffs, along with mentioning prolonged police arrival times and that calling 911 might not be in your best interest initially.  Sheriff Clarke encourages his constituents to “be prepared”, and candidly states that their safety is no longer a spectator sport; he needs them in the game alongside his deputies.

“…your safety — it’s no longer a spectator sport; I need you in the game.”

He goes on to offer three choices for would-be victims: beg for mercy from violent criminals, hide under the bed, or fight back!

“It’s your duty to protect yourself and your family,” he says. “We’re partners now. Can I count on you?”

Sheriff Clarke has been receiving an onslaught of complaints and calls for his resignation from various groups, along with the President of the Deputy Sheriff’s Association, Roy Felber, suggesting the public service announcement is more closely aligned to a call for vigilantism....

Hayden’s Note: Military Helicopters Terrorize Houston, “Warzone” – The New Normal

Posted on Jan 29, 2013 in Alphabet Agencies & Operations, Constitutional & Liberty Issues, Police, Military, & War

Source: ABC 13 – Hayden’s Lengthy Editorial Note at End

The sight of Army helicopters and the sound of gunfire created a lot of concern Monday afternoon in one Houston neighborhood.

With military helicopters flying above her southeast Houston neighborhood, Frances Jerrals didn’t know what to think.

“…it sounds like we’re in a war zone. Guns, shooting, helicopters flying around the house,'” Isaac Robertson Jr. said.

The U.S. Army, along with other agencies, took over the old Carnegie Vanguard High School near Scott and Airport. There were armed men in fatigues, plenty of weapons and what many thought were real live rounds.

“I felt like I was in a warzone.” Jerrals said. “It was nonstop. I was terrified.”

“If it’s to protect our kids, I’m all for it,” neighbor Glenn DeWitt said.

Hayden’s Note:

THIS is the problem. Fear mongering, complacency, and a sheeple mentality: handing over all critical thinking skills and effort to the government will come with a heavy price. Mr. Glenn DeWitt believes that the US military is training to protect our school children.

Utility Workers and Police Trespass to Install Smart Meter, Arrest Home Owner [Video]

Posted on Jan 25, 2013 in Constitutional & Liberty Issues, Health, Food News, & Big Pharma, Police, Military, & War, Political Issues

Kevin Hayden –

Naperville, IL, resident Malia “Kim” Bendis and her neighbor were arrested on eavesdropping and resisting an officer charges after video recording two police officers and utility workers installing a “smart meter” – which have been linked to health issues – on her neighbor’s house.  The home owner, identified only as Laura, is clearly seen on video refusing consent for the utility workers and police to be on her property, along with expressing concerns for her child’s health and safety, but is threatened with arrest if she interferes.

What happened to 4th Amendment requirements? What happened to private property laws?

Why are the police masquerading as enforcing City Hall requirements when in reality, they are protecting a private company?

Illinois citizens are still being arrested for recording police officers despite a 7th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling last year that blocked the enforcement of the law on the grounds that it was unconstitutional.

The law, which made it a felony to record them, even while acting in their official role as a public servant – in public, where no expectation of privacy is considered – is highly illogical, especially in this particular case.  ...

Ben Swann, of Cincinnati affiliate FOX 19‘s Reality Check, and his new web series, Full Disclosure, takes a hard look at both sides of some of the most heated debates and stories in the news.  Unlike many anchors and journalists, Swann earns his keep by providing a no-nonsense approach to difficult topics while asking hard, but fair questions.  His viewership and fanbase continue to swell due to his honesty, professionalism, and due diligence.  Isn’t that what journalism used to be about?

Take a look at the recent Reality Check from Ben Swann, where he tackles the hotly contested gun debate:

With both an Edward R. Murrow Award and two Emmy’s on his mantel, Ben has proven himself both on the desk and in the field. He has specialized in covering Mexico’s drug wars on the Texas border as a news anchor for KTSM-TV, the NBC affiliate in El Paso, Texas, and delivered some hard-hitting investigative pieces during his career in the Lonestar state....
