According to a recent report by Indy Media, Mexican crude oil will be sold to China without using the US dollar as its trading currency.  Sources inside the Mexican government refuse to disclose if they have been in secret negotiations with China over possible crude oil sales.

If you’re not familiar with the term petrodollar, or why a move such as this by China, Mexico, or Russia is of grave concern, allow me to give you a few points to consider and explain the situation -

In 1975, the members of OPEC agreed to sell oil only in US dollars.  This was for a variety of reasons, but chief among them was to maintain a need for US currency and maintain its reign as the global reserve.  Without this in America’s backpocket, I’m sure that the Dollar would have even less value, to put it mildly.

Greenspan, in his first speech after leaving as Chairman of the Fed, said that gold prices were up because of concern about terrorism, and not because of monetary concerns or because he created too many dollars during his tenure.

People often ask me why the West doesn’t attempt a Libya-style intervention in Syria. After all, things are going so well in Libya. Oil production is up. But oil production is merely a mirage, as is security in Libya, which was doomed from the day one PG (post-Gaddafi) because of the way it was “liberated”.

While this is a more “mainstream” piece regarding Libya, towards the end, it really gets into the nuts and bolts about what happened during the initial “liberation” and the current problems revolving around US Ambassador Steven’s death.  Private intelligence firm Jellyfish Operations offers up straight-forward information regarding Abu Yahya al-Libi and CIA-backed “al-Qaeda” terrorist/puppet Ayman al-Zawahiri. As you read it, look beyond what’s merely printed in black and white and add a bit of imagination to it – trust me, it is much further down the rabbit hole than even your wildest imaginations.  Connect the dots and wake up.  We use “terrorists” as proxy armies, as puppets, as a means to an end, and when we’re done with them, we demonize them in our mainstream media and send the drones in.

The killings of the US ambassador to Libya and three of his staff were likely to have been the result of a serious and continuing security breach, The Independent can reveal.

American officials believe the attack was planned, but Chris Stevens had been back in the country only a short while and the details of his visit to Benghazi, where he and his staff died, were meant to be confidential.

The US used and financed al-Qaeda (All-CIA-Duh!) as a proxy army in Libya, ending in Gaddafi’s assassination.  We are now openly using them in Syria, against Assad.  So, tell me, who is the target in this War on Terror?

Over the last few years, our intelligence community has been incrementally using, in every sense of the word, extremists and insurgents, in order to further their terror plan – and it has succeeded quite well, I might add.  Everywhere I turn, I hear from Republicans and Conservatives, even some Democrats, that al-Qaeda and Muslims should be exterminated. In an unbelievable act of high treason and overt criminality, the US State Department, headed by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has finalized arrangements to move the US State Department-listed foreign terror organization, Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MEK), into the former US military base “Camp Liberty’ in Iraq.

Article III, Section 3 of the US Constitution defines treason as waging war against the interests of the United States or giving aid and comfort to her enemies.  First and foremost, I’m not sure which is closer to the definition of our enemy: The US State Department as a whole?  Or just their policies and support for violent, for-hire terrorist organizations acting out the directives of Western Intelligence…?  Are we not culpable for terrorism by proxy?

And we’re giving them Camp Liberty?  What a slap in the face.

Effectively turning the camp into a living monument of desecration to the memories of 6,000+US troops killed over the last 10 years of the fraudulent “War on Terror,” the US State Department is also appropriating US taxpayers’ money to make upgrades to the camp to accommodate the terrorist organization....

Plan B for US after UN Veto? – deploy Al Qaeda “foreign legion.” 

It is now a matter of established public record that the “Libyan rebels” who the US funded, armed, trained, recognized politically, and even provided special forces and air support for through the UN and NATO, were in fact led by the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), listed by the US State Department (page 1) as a “Foreign Terrorist Organization.”

Two West Point reports confirm that LIFG was formally joined with Al Qaeda, and many of its top leaders constitute the core of Al Qaeda’s upper echelons. These reports also confirm that LIFG fighters were operational in both Afghanistan and Iraq, killing US and British troops, and that the vast majority of their fighters were recruited from the Libyan cities of Benghazi and Darnah. In 2011, it would be these two cities that served as the epicenter of NATO-backed resistance against Qaddafi.

More recently it was exposed by French independent reporter Thierry Meyssan of VoltaireNet.org that LIFG commander Abdul Hakim Belhaj has left the NATO bombed city of Tripoli and is now directing the “Free Syrian Army” from the border of Turkey (a NATO member since 1952)....

US Considering Has Written Plans for Giving ‘Military Aid’ Financial Support and Weapons to Syrian Rebels Terrorists

The US and its allies are considering giving military aid to the Syrian opposition battling the regime of President Bashar al Assad in an 11-month uprising that activists say has killed more than 6,000 people.

The Pentagon has drawn up contingency plans which include supplying the Free Syrian Army (FSA) with weapons and establishing a humanitarian corridor to deliver aid to civilians, The Times reported.

Several nations have already been aiding the rebels, with Saudi Arabia providing financial assistance and Qatar supplying them with 3000 satellite phones. Qatar was also giving the FSA night-vision equipment and anti-tank missiles.

The FSA’s logistical coordinator Sheikh Zuheir Abassi told The Times the rebels wanted the West to provide no-fly zones and a haven from which they could safely operate.

Gee, this is an exact repeat of Libya.  And the Libyan “rebels” turned out to be bona fide members of al-Qaeda....

Moscow has accused the west of stirring up tensions in the Arab world by calling for the overthrow of the Syrian regime. Russia says calls from certain states for the Syrian opposition to avoid dialogue with the government, are only provoking further violence. Author and journalist Webster Tarpley, who’s in Damascus, says it’s very simple; Western powers are behind the violence in Syria, including death squads and snipers trying to instigate problems.

This reminds me of the assassination of Benazhir Bhutto, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan.  She was shot in the face and Heads of State claimed it was protesters, terrorists, or an explosion.  Most geopolitical sources now agree that it was an targeted intelligence operation involving snipers and quite likely, private contractors being the trigger man.

This also echoes what just happened in Libya… hired mercenaries and al-Qaeda members from the region descend upon the towns as a Western proxy army in order to cause regime change....

Mario Monti, who will lead the Italian government after Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi resigned, has an interesting resume.  Let’s take a look at who will be in charge of Italy’s new economic direction and dealings with, among other things, the soon-to-be acquired Libyan oil.  Prior to the NATO invasion, Italy relied upon Libya for 85% of their oil.  I’m sure they’ll be getting a much better discount package nowadays, having taken part in the NATO operation to “liberate” the country and assassinate its leader.

It remains unclear exactly why or how the Gadhafi regime went from “a model” and an “important ally” to the next target for regime change in a period of just a few years. But after claims of “genocide” as the justification for NATO intervention were disputed by experts, several other theories have been floated.

Oil, of course, has been mentioned frequently — Libya is Africa‘s largest oil producer. But one possible reason in particular for Gadhafi’s fall from grace has gained significant traction among analysts and segments of the non-Western media: central banking and the global monetary system.

According to more than a few observers, Gadhafi’s plan to quit selling Libyan oil in U.S. dollars — demanding payment instead in gold-backed “dinars” (a single African currency made from gold) — was the real cause. The regime, sitting on massive amounts of gold, estimated at close to 150 tons, was also pushing other African and Middle Eastern governments to follow suit.

For ten months the Obama administration has presided over the “Arab Spring,” a geopolitical gambit years in the making, and executed simultaneously in multiple nations throughout the Middle East and North Africa in the beginning of 2011. The regional conflagration was stoked by a steady stream of first, denial, even feigned surprise, with covert support for US-backed opposition groups, then more overt support, and finally NATO airstrikes, weapons, training, and special operations forces lent to the rebellion in Libya and weapons and support sent to Syria’s militants. These collective efforts stretching from Tunisia and leading up to Iran’s doorstep serve a singular agenda -that is, to contain and ultimately overturn the reemergence of Russia as well as containing the rise of China.
