Head of Libyan Security Services Calls Out NATO for Supporting al-Qaeda

The American “war on terror” is a sham designed to strip freedoms from Americans while consolidating wealth and power into the hands of the elite.

Since the war on terror began, absolutely no measurable progress has been made and the entire nomenclature assigned to this “war” bolsters this fact by showing that this is a war that is meant to continue forever, across the world.

For those who are still taken by the illusion that we are actually fighting terrorism, our support of rebels openly associated with al Qaeda in Libya (the same al Qaeda group responsible for sending militants to Iraq to kill American soldiers) should have shattered this delusion.

The head of the Libyan security services, that is the real Libyan security services, not the al Qaeda-affiliated rebel war criminals, Abdullah al-Snousi made this very clear in a statement earlier today.

Hayden’s Note:

I’ve said this time and time again.  See here, herehere and here (whew!) for various editorials and commentary regarding Western support for al-Qaeda (All-CIA-duh!) masquarading as “Libyan rebels concerned for their people,” allowing these banker-paid terrorist proxy armies to set up shop in Washington, DC at the Libya Embassy, and arming them with advanced weaponry. ...

Hugo Chavez Demands Venezuelan Gold be Returned from Bank of England, JP Morgan

Posted on Aug 19, 2011 in Economic News, Federal Reserve & Bankers

Kevin Hayden –

Source: Silver Doctors

We just reported that Hugo Chavez has nationalized the entire Venezuelan gold industry this afternoon.

Well, Hugo didn’t stop there, as latest headlines flashing indicate that Chavez has requested that the Bank of England return 99 Tons of Venezuelan gold held on deposit, and a total of 211 Tons of gold held abroad (WSJ).

For those with any knowledge of the cartel, you know where this is heading.

For those who don’t….the Bank of England currently stores 211 tons of Venezuela’s gold in the vaults of (per Bloomberg) JP Morgan, Barclays, and the Bank of Nova Scotia.

A last check of physical gold inventory in The Morgue’s vault showed a whopping 338,303 total ounces of gold…roughly 10.6 tons.

In an absolute shocker to all who follow gold and silver here, are we about to see the COMEX Gold market busted/default before COMEX Silver?

Look for gold to vault past $1800 in the access/Asian markets tonight when this news spreads. (It did)

If Chavez carries through with this ultimatum, look for Venezuela to receive the Gaddafi/Libyan treatment within the week....

US Transfers Libyan Embassy in DC to “Rebels” – Ties to al-Qaeda, Big Oil and Banking

The United States said Tuesday it has transferred the Libyan embassy in Washington to the National Transitional Council, which Washington has recognized as Libya’s de facto government.

“It is true,” State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland told reporters when asked whether the United States had handed the embassy over to the rebel NTC.

Nuland’s deputy Mark Toner said the United States and NTC signed documents that transferred the embassy — which once represented Moamer Kadhafi’s regime in Washington — to the rebels based in the eastern Libyan port of Benghazi.

Hayden’s Note:

See these other articles to understand the bigger picture and what is at stake.  From the mouth of the Rebel Commander himself, we have learned that more than a handful of the original “rebels” were in fact members of the al-Qaeda (All-CIA-duh!) group and were assigned to help wage a proxy war against Gaddafi and Libya.  That’s America’s MO.  We used the same al-Qaeda figures in our proxy war against the Soviets/Russia in Afghanistan back in the 1980s.  We use them to sustain never-ending wars in multiple theaters around the world. ...

One Million March in Support of Colonel Qaddafi While US Formally Recognizes Libya “Rebels” as New Gov’t

Mirage fighters, F16 fighters, B-2 Stealth bombers, 15,000 NATO air sorties; The bombing of thousands of civilian targets…
Global Research’s Mahdi Darius Nazemroaya reporting from Tripoli refutes the media consensus which upholds NATO’s humanitarian mandate. He provides us with a review of the mass rallies directed against NATO including extensive photographic evidence.

NATO is said to be coming to the rescue of the Libyan people. That is what we are being told.  Western journalists have quite deliberately distorted what is happening inside Libya. They have upheld NATO as an instrument of peace and democratization.

They have endorsed an illegal and criminal war.  They are instruments of US-NATO propaganda.

It’s very hard to get an accurate number of the mass of people that attended the Friday rally in support of Colonel Qaddafi in Green Square, but estimates have placed the size of the July 1st rally at one million people.  Libya is a country of roughly six million citizens, so compare this rally to Washington, DC being marched upon by 58 million Americans!...

A short story showing how powerful elite interests and central bankers could manipulate American foreign policy using a black flag event in order to guarantee the American dollar remains the world’s reserve currency. This is of course just a work of fiction and hypothetical case study and the characters have no relation to actual people, government officials or events.

“Generals always prepare to fight the last war.” ~ a proverb

Part One – The following is a short case study about a potential war and financial crisis starting in the Middle East.

The White House Situation Room

The Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) called the meeting to order. “Mr. President, Vice President, selected members of the Cabinet, the Joint Chiefs and Senate and House Committee chairmen, it is a pleasure to be here today along with the Treasury Secretary and the Chairman of the Federal Reserve.”

“Due to the sensitive nature of this information, everyone here is to treat the information we present today as top-secret in nature and any leaks will be dealt with by the harshest measures available including enhanced interrogation and even imprisonment in secure facilities ranging from Diego Garcia to Guantanamo....

US House Votes Against Continued Libya War Funding

Posted on Jun 14, 2011 in Police, Military, & War – Kevin Hayden

The US House of Representatives voted to prohibit the use of funds for American military operations in Libya.

Lawmakers adopted the amendment to a military appropriations bill by a vote of 248 to 163.

A number of members of Congress have recently expressed their dissatisfaction at President Barack Obama’s decision to go ahead with operations in Libya in March and to continue without congressional authorization.

The amendment, introduced by Democratic representative Brad Sherman from California, invokes the War Powers Resolution, a 1973 law that limits presidential powers on sending troops abroad into combat zones without the consent of Congress.

Sherman’s text states that “none of the funds made available by this act may be used in contravention of the War Powers Act.”

According to the War Powers Resolution, the president must seek congressional authorization to send US troops into combat and must withdraw American forces within 60 days if Congress has not authorized the military action.

The same measure was presented in another bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security but failed to pass on June 2....

British Attack Helicopters Deployed to Libya, Backed by US Special Forces

Posted on May 25, 2011 in Police, Military, & War – Kevin Hayden

Source: Telegraph

British attack helicopters will be deployed in Libya within days in a significant expansion of the military mission [for oil and banking control] against Muammar Gaddafi’s forces. The Daily Telegraph has learned that Apache helicopters will fly into Libya from a Royal Navy warship, in a joint operation with the French.  As many as 18 British and French helicopters will be deployed to support rebels trying to consolidate gains against Gaddafi’s forces. The helicopter operation – expected to be supported by Special Forces troops – will take the allies closer still to a full ground operation in Libya.

“We are constantly looking for ways to intensify the diplomatic and military pressure on the Libyan regime,” said a spokesman for Mr Cameron.

One of the helicopters’ principal tasks will be to enforce a 16-mile buffer zone around the beseiged city of Misurata.

Some semblance of normality has returned to the city since rebels captured the airport and attacked Libyan army artillery positions more than a week ago.

British military planners said the helicopters would help the rebels entrench their control over Misurata and deal a symbolic blow to Col Gaddafi....

Benazir Bhutto, bin Laden, Libyan Rebels and Lies

Posted on May 02, 2011 in Featured Articles, Police, Military, & War – Kevin Hayden

Hail to the Chief!  Or is it Hulk Hogan?

At the recent White House Correspondents Dinner, President Barack Obama was introduced with a short video comprised of Hulk Hogan’s theme song (I am a Real American!), the American flag waving, bald eagles soaring and a large, flashing birth certificate.  Thanks, President.  Real professional of you.

This comes on the same day that President Obama announced that the US military had finally killed the elusive boogey-man, Osama bin Laden.

But… I thought he was already having kidney problems in 2002 and living out his years in the Bora Bora caves with his merry band of terrorists?  Oh, wait.  He was on dialysis – which requires hospitalization and medical care at times.  So, he couldn’t have been in the mountains.

I also clearly recall bin Laden offering up threats of terrorism over global warming recently.  Maybe he’s been hiding at Al Gore’s house?  It’s certainly big enough to get lost in.  That would be an inconvenient truth if I had ever heard one.

Osama blamed the United States and developed countries for not halting climate change and said that the global economy should immediately abandon its reliance on the American dollar, according to an audiotape released by Al Jazeera back in January, 2010....

Russia Warns Over New UN Resolution on Libya, Has UN Veto Power

Posted on Apr 26, 2011 in Global & National News – Kevin Hayden

Source: Reuters

Russia said on Tuesday it will not support any United Nations Security Council resolutions on Libya which could escalate the conflict in the North African nation, local news agencies reported.

“If a resolution leads to a further escalation of a civil war by any means, including outside intervention, we will not be able to support this,” Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was quoted as saying by Interfax news agency.

Russia, a veto-wielding permanent U.N. Security Council member, abstained last month from the vote on a resolution authorizing force to protect civilians in Libya by enforcing a no-fly zone.

But Russia’s leaders have repeatedly criticized the extent of the coalition operation.

Initially, leaders of the NATO Western military alliance had ruled out sending ground troops to Libya, but EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton said last week the bloc’s members would consider such a step if the U.N. requested it....

Tyrants Beware – Full-Spectrum Resistance is Growing

Assassinate Gaddafi?

Peddling a policy that includes assassinating the leader of a sovereign nation, besieged under blatantly false pretenses, sets a dangerous precedent that may backfire in the faces of the arrogant men calling for it. Senators Lindsey Graham and John McCain, both of the meddling International Republican Institute implicated in funding and fueling the “Arab Spring” to begin with, have called for the assassination of Libya’s Qaddafi and members of his inner circle. The London Telegraph also reported that Foreign Secretary William Hague refused to rule out using US drones to assassinate Qaddafi.

With the US now openly admitting to recruiting, training, funding, and equipping armies of “activists” to go back and subvert their nations’ governments, and with China and a growing list of other nations pointing the finger for fueling subversion directly at Washington, the global scope of this operation and the meddling hands behind are exposed for the whole world to see. What comes next will be a series of proxy conflicts of increasing violence....

British Military Team Deploys to Libya as EU Considers Sending 1,000 “Humanitarian Troops”

Posted on Apr 21, 2011 in Police, Military, & War – Kevin Hayden

Source: CS Monitor

Britain is sending a military team to Benghazi to bolster its diplomatic team already on the ground in the rebel capital of Libya, according to a statement today from the British foreign secretary. The European Union is also preparing to send troops for humanitarian assistance if requested by the United Nations.

The moves may be setting the scene for a clash with Libyan forces, as The Washington Post reported the Libyan government said today that it will fight any foreign troops on its soil.

“If there is any deployment of any armed personnel on Libyan ground, there will be fighting,” Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Kaim told reporters at a news conference in Tripoli. “The Libyan government will not take it as a humanitarian mission. It will be taken as a military mission.”

Nearly a month after imposition of a no-fly zone over Libya, today’s announcements appear to mark a new international commitment to bolstering the Western presence in Libya. They come as the rebel city of Misurata sustains withering attacks, highlighting the limited success of NATO and Western nations in protecting the rebels and beating back Col....

Libya: the Hard-Sell is Coming

Posted on Apr 15, 2011 in Police, Military, & War – Kevin Hayden

Source: Tony Cartalucci, Contributing Writer
Activist Post

When presidents are writing editorials in newspapers a hard-sell is just around the corner. Judging by the recent tripartite op-ed in the New York Times by Obama, Sarkozy, and Cameron regarding Libya, the hard-sell is most likely a protracted air campaign above Libya with an ever increasing ground presence below possibly leading to an all out invasion. Clearly the operation in Libya will exceed the “days or weeks, but not months” we were told it would take.

Predictably the UNSC r.1973 mandate of “protecting civilians” has “mission crept” into providing air cover for armed militants as they fight towards Tripoli – militants now openly proclaiming their allegiance to Al Qaeda. The CIA and MI6 are also admittedly on the ground assisting the rebels and attempting to bring down Qaddafi’s regime – violating entirely the contrived UNSC r.1973 that defined the intervention in the first place. Further violations come in the form of US calls to arm the rebels and allowing arms to flow into eastern Libya from Egypt....

Regime Change Libya: Privatization of The Central Bank and Theft of Nationalized Oil Profits

Posted on Apr 11, 2011 in Featured Articles – Kevin Hayden

Source: Scott Creighton – American Everyman

There is no question anymore as to why the Obama administration is attempting to impose a change of the regime of Libya.

On March 17th I wrote about the invasion of Libya being about two main objectives: privatizing the national oil company and the state-owned central banking system. I pointed out that the US and British inserted language in the UN resolution that allowed them to freeze the accounts of the nationalized oil company as well as the central bank of Libya. Well, before they have even won their coup, the CIA backed pro-west opposition has taken the time to announce that they have formed a new national oil company and central bank. Obviously they have allowed our neo-liberal economic hit-men to write-up the legal documentation for this action and I am sure it hands over control to multinationals outside Libya.  This is why so many globalist apologists and neo-liberals have been running around the last week claiming that the real government in Libya is the Transitional National Council.

It has always been about gaining control of the central banking system in Libya. ...

CIA Intel Analyst Blasts US Foreign Policy, Libya; Slams CNN Infobabes

Posted on Apr 04, 2011 in Police, Military, & War – Kevin Hayden

Source: CNN

A U.S. intelligence source has confirmed the presence of CIA operations in Libya. What does an operation like this look like and what does it mean for the U.S.?  Michael Scheuer, former CIA Counterterrorism Analyst who headed CIA’s Bin Laden Unit, says the U.S. should not have gone into Libya.

Hayden’s Note:

Michael Scheur not only says Libya was none of our business, he lays into the “infobabes” and lets them have it towards the end of this interview.  He discusses the false left/right paradigm briefly and then gets booted off the air.   We need more intelligence analysts and former CIA like this guy speaking publicly.  Maybe then, some of the RHINO-types and traditional war-mongering conservatives can hear it from a “reputable source” and understand that this “war effort” is wrong, that the media is lying to you and all of these things are being done in step with a pre-written end game blueprint.

With Boogey-Man bin Laden Long Dead, Gaddafi Becomes Newest Terror

Posted on Mar 29, 2011 in Featured Articles, Police, Military, & War – Kevin Hayden

Now that the boogey-man effect of Osama bin Laden has waned, Western think-tanks need a new monster to induce fear and panic.  Enter stage left; Gaddafi.

Expect false flag terror events blamed on the North African leader as a diversion from the failing Middle East theater and the fact that Osama bin Laden has been dead for years.  Also, it would be a convenient excuse to put ground troops into Libya.  Nevermind the fact that we’ve been doing business with him for 30 years.

Source: Breit Bart – A leading US senator said Tuesday that he worried embattled Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi could support terrorist strikes against Western targets in the “dubious” event that he stays in power.

“As long as he’s in power, I’d be concerned that he would support acts of terror. That’s why it’s important to get him out of there,” said Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin, a Democrat.

Levin, in a wide-ranging conversation with reporters, repeatedly blamed Kadhafi for the 1988 Lockerbie bombing and blasts at German cafes and said “nothing stops him” now from resorting to terrorism in response to a UN-mandated onslaught designed to protect populations that rose up against him.
