MEDIA SHOWS NO SIGNS OF UNDERSTANDING THE RON PAUL STRATEGY, SO LET ME EXPLAIN IT

Over the last couple of weeks, the Ron Paul campaign has picked up a majority of delegates in Iowa, Colorado, Maine, and Nevada.  He’s on pace to also pick up the majority of delegates in at least four additional states…and those are just the sure things.  This is all part of a process that actually started over 4 years ago when Paul ran for President and his deputy campaign manager, Debbie Hopper, did yeoman’s work with the grassroots to recognize the intensity and develop this strategy.

The media is now belatedly noticing that this has been happening.  It has already succeeded in taking control of slews of local and county GOP organizations, putting at least seven Paul backers on the Republican National Committee, and completely taking over the party in multiple states…and counting.

The question that much of the legacy media is now starting to ask is “Why?”  As with so much reporting, they then go on to attempt to answer their own question and fail....

An American military document just uncovered appears to detail a US Army plan that calls for detaining “political activists” at re-education camps staffed by military-hired “PsyOps officers” in both America and abroad.

The website Infowars.com has unearthed the smoking gun, a copy of a United States military manual entitled FM 3-39.40 Internment and Resettlement Operations, which appears to offer Defense Department insiders instructions on dealing with the imprisonment of anyone considered an enemy to the American way of life and how to go about indoctrinating them with an “appreciation of US policies and actions” through psychological warfare.

I’m still doing my own research on this topic, but wanted to go ahead and post it so that you might be aware of it.  We’ve all heard about the Internment and Resettlement Specialist positions that were being offered within the US Army last year, but this is the first I have heard about any domestic confirmation for camps, aside from the hysteria created by the old ‘Civilian Inmate Labor’ document a few years ago (which turned out to be nothing nefarious, simply a policy on how to handle civilian inmates on military installations).

While I enjoyed this video, I was wholly saddened by the fact that it, too, has a strong agenda and seems to have large pocketbooks behind it.  I noticed they didn’t mention US foreign policy ONCE, nor did they mention the damage that the Federal Reserve has done.  All in all, it’s a short video and worth watching, but as I always say, “Question Everything.”

Everyone has an agenda, and it is often times hard to see past the dazzling camera effects, feigned sincerity, and keyword emphasis, but keep your mind sharp and you’ll see through it every time.

A new program in Houston will place undercover TSA agents and police officers on buses to perform bag searches, watch for “suspicious activity,” and interrogate passengers in order to ‘curb crime and terrorism’.

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee unveiled the program, labeled Bus Safe.

Welcome to the Police State.  Officers will now search your bags, question your motives, and invade your constitutional privacy in the name of preventing “terrorism” on buses and trains, via the criminal-laden TSA.  In reality, it is a conditioning effort.

It would not end pretty if I were riding the bus and was harassed by TSA goons, frisked without probable cause, or even reasonable suspicion, and questioned as if I were a common thug. I would likely end up in jail with severe injuries.  Let’s see… 1st, 4th, and 5th Amendment violations so far…

Economic crises signal that the current system isn’t working as expected and needs improvement. China is next with 13 percent, and Japan is third with about ten. Ron Paul delegates were being excluded from the Oklahoma County GOP Convention, but by using the establishment’s own rules of order against them, they were able to fight back and gain a majority!

In attendance, and in support of the Ron Paul delegates, were Oklahoma State Representatives Charles Key and Ralph Shortey, along with many influential, local activists.

If you’ve ever been a Ron Paul delegate, you know that the GOP central committees will employ every trick in the book to avoid having to seat Ron Paul delegates. They will freely ignore their own bylaws, apply rules in such a manner as to only exclude Paul delegates, and will liberally employ intimidation tactics through verbal abuse, and even physical manhandling of delegates.

No less than six relatives of Presidential candidate Mitt Romney have joined the campaign trail in the race for the GOP nomination, but they’re not supporting the former Massachusetts governor, they’re campaigning for Texas Congressman Ron Paul.

Three of Romney’s relatives will even speak at Idaho caucus sites, declaring their support for Paul in a story that is sure to create a buzz around Paul’s campaign as he looks to pick up his first caucus win on Super Tuesday.

The Paul campaign issued a press release Monday introducing five Romney relatives, then issued another release shortly afterwards noting a sixth.

Judge Andrew Napolitano fires a volley of questions, aimed squarely at the Mainstream Media, the Establishment, and those that lack the ability or desire to question their surroundings.  Fox News unceremoniously canceled his show and he has now been endorsed by Ron Paul as his Vice President.

This is a call to wake those who still believe there is a difference between the so-called Left and Right.  Democrats and Republicans, Liberals and Conservatives: they are one in the same when it comes to Washington, with only minor, petty differences so that you feel as though you have a viable argument in supporting the platforms and actions of those who represent it. Secondly, Michael Scheuer and the Judge lay down heavy artillery on the fact that members of Congress are bought by Israel.

South Carolina’s Attorney General, Alan Wilson has notified the U.S. Justice Department of potential voter fraud.

Wilson says an analysis found 953 ballots cast by voters were people who are listed as dead.

He has asked the State Law Enforcement Division to investigate....

Environmental and consumer groups have condemned the US Food and Drug Administration’s move to renege on its long-held policy to regulate the use of human antibiotics in animal feed. Last week, the agency quietly announced it was withdrawing its plan to limit the use of antibiotics fed to healthy livestock intended for human consumption.

The groups also criticized the timing of the announcement, which was made during the holiday season and disclosed only in the federal register.

[Pollan] said there was “no question” that meat could be produced without human antibiotics, as the EU has already banned them.  Livestock consume about 80% of the antibiotics sold in the US.

The problem, said Pollan, boils down to a lack of political will in the face of powerful industry interests. “There’s a lot of corporate money in politics these days,” he said. “Here you’re going up against not just one powerful industry, but two. This administration has had enough trouble going after individual powerful industries. That they would prevail against two of them joined together was too much to hope for.”

The “dirty” secret about the Keystone XL pipeline’s oil sands hydrocarbons, which no amount of K Street PR can spin away, is that the oil has a higher carbon content than that from traditional fossil fuels, anywhere from 8 to 14 percent more, depending on which scientific report you read. Accordingly, the EU has already banned their import, much to Ottawa’s annoyance. Much to the consternation of Transcanada and the pipeline’s Republican boosters in Washington, environmental groups in such stalwart Republican states as Nebraska went up in arms over the Keystone XL proposal, fearing that a leak from the underground pipeline would irrevocably pollute the Ogalla Aquifer, source of much of the Great Plains’ agricultural water.

With all eyes on Iowa as the state’s key caucuses are slated to begin in two weeks’ time, Congressman Ron Paul is seeing continuing success in the polls.

The results of the latest survey from Public Policy Polling has the libertarian-learning GOP hopeful neck and neck with scandel-laden, former-House Speaker Newt Gingrich. In the data released on Tuesday, Paul’s favoritism in the state of Iowa is apparent in 21 percent of likely Republican voters. Former frontrunners Mitt Romney and Michelle Bachmann both trail the Texas congressman, coming in at 16 percent and 11 percent, respectively.

The surge in support for Paul comes after the candidate has unleashed on Gingrich with a series of campaign ads gone viral that attack the former speaker for his “serial hypocrisy” and flip-flopping (not to mention his 80+ Congressional ethics violations). Public Policy Polling reports that Gingrich saw a drop of 5 percentage points in support in the week leading up to the survey alone.

Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) today announced commonsense legislation that would prohibit open-air cultivation of Genetically Engineered (GE) pharmaceutical and industrial crops, preventing biological contamination of our food supply. The bill would also establish a tracking system to regulate and ensure the safety of GE pharmaceutical and industrial crops.

This is REAL food safety bill, unlike the Senate’s Food Safety Modernization Act (or SB 510) that was passed last year.  This is REAL change, REAL safety.  The contamination and cross-pollination of genetically modified organisms will destroy our food supply in short order.  It has already bankrupted thousands of American farmers, and has been the root cause of suicide by tens of thousands of Indian cotton farmers.  Monsanto is a bio-tech terrorist, plain and simple, and I consider GMOs to be one of the gravest dangers we face in this lifetime.

GMO soy and corn is the main staple of our industrial cattle and meat supply (when even 1st graders know that cows eat grass!), which often times causes farmers and feed lots to use antibiotics to keep the cows alive (this accounts for nearly 80% of antibiotic use in America – wonder why we have antibiotic-resistant illnesses lately?), and ultimately ends up in your body....

There are those today who would claim that the lifeblood of a nation is dependent upon the graces of its government.  That government is the focal point of cultural growth, and that we as citizens should respect it as such.  I would be more inclined to agree if the public did not so easily confuse the ideals of leadership with the actions of criminals.  That is to say, regardless of what we wish our government to be, bureaucracies rarely, if ever, embody the spirit of the common man (a necessity for any system that purports to defend the citizenry).  Instead, bureaucracies almost inevitably deteriorate into vehicles for the perpetuation of tyranny driven by the very worst of all stewards; elitist minorities with delusions of godhood.

Unfortunately, despite this fact, the masses often treat these industrious vermin and the plagues of society that they build with the same reverence as they would a sincere and honorable body politic.

Government is not nor has it ever been a foregone conclusion.  Government is not concrete.  It is not tangible.  It is not the foundation of society.  Instead, government is an abstraction; a fantastic dream of collectivist paternity in the face of individual hardship.  Those who fear to wander the world on their own courage, strength, and merit, seek to elevate and empower “decision makers” to provide the comfort of limited liability.  Through this process, governments are created out of thin air.  All governmental authority is, thus, HANDED to those in positions of leadership.  What makes one man a “king” and another man a “peasant”?  Only the people of a country, and where they choose to place their personal control; in their own hands, or the hands of others....

Televised congressional hearings often serve as a platform for members of Congress to berate, bloviate and showboat for the cameras, but at a House Natural Resources Committee hearing Tuesday, historian Douglas Brinkley wouldn’t stand for it.

“You just be quiet,” Alaskan Representative Young demanded.

“You don’t own me,” Brinkley shot back. “I pay your salary!”

Washington Republican Rep. Doc Hastings, the chairman of the committee, tried to break it up, but then Brinkley interrupted him.

“I work for the private sector,” Brinkley said.

When the chairman returned the floor to Young, the rumble began anew.

“We’re the ones who ask the questions, and you’re the one who answers the questions,” Young said. “Boy I’m really pissed right now.”

Longtime readers know that I don’t spend much time in the United States; I usually swing by for a month or so each year to visit friends and family, and the period in-between visits can often stretch 6-months or more.

This is sufficiently long enough that I notice a lot of changes… some so drastic that they hit me in the head like a baseball bat.

For example, just last week when I was at Los Angeles International Airport, the police set up a checkpoint outside the main entrance as if we were in downtown Baghdad driving into the Green Zone.

And I couldn’t believe my eyes when, driving down Santa Monica Boulevard last Wednesday, I saw a police urban assault vehicle modeled after a US Army mechanized infantry fighting vehicle. It’s designed for one thing: maximum destruction.

It’s truly appalling how police forces across the country have become militarized. The concept of ‘peace officer’ no longer exists. Police are now paramilitary forces who only protect and serve the political class....

Late in the evening on November 4, 1605, an English soldier named Guy Fawkes took up his position deep in the cellars beneath the House of Lords in London’s Westminster Palace. I couldn’t believe what I heard on Tuesday night’s Bloomberg Debate. Well, okay, I guess I could believe it, but let me qualify my recantation. There was always something about Cain that made him come off as a man who isn’t above deception. It probably has something to do with the fact that I don’t trust former Federal Reserve Chairmen. Still, I was surprised, not because because he lied, but what he lied about.

When they started the segment of the debate where each candidate could ask their own question, I knew that Paul was going to hammer Cain. However, I was hoping it was going to be on Herman Cain’s credibility on economic issues. Arguably, it would have been a much better question. Arguably, this could be seen as a missed opportunity on Ron Paul’s part, but hindsight may prove it better for Ron Paul to have kept that card in reserve. Instead of asking a question that would have highlighted his own credentials, Paul came out in defense of the countless grassroots supporters that pester Herman Cain on the issue of auditing the Federal Reserve....

As the Occupy Wall Street events continue to expand and unfold, I’ve tried to keep tabs on my local event, Occupy OKC.  When this first started, I was elated at the idea of the common People finally getting off of their couch and protesting their grievances towards an out of control government.  But I was sadly mistaken.  Instead, as each new day passes, I hear and see more of these protesters demanding rights and privileges that I would be willing to take up arms to fight against.  The very problems that got me involved in politics and protesting are what most of the Occupy protesters are wanting.

The Ayn Rand Institute held its annual “Atlas Shrugged Revolution” dinner Thursday night in New York City.

In attendance were a number of financial luminaries and hedge fund managers, including Peter Schiff of EuroPacific Capital, John Tamny of RealClearMarkets, Dmitry Balyasny of Balyasny Asset Management and Scott Schweighauser of Aurora Investment Management.

The setting was the tony St. Regis Hotel on Fifth Avenue but there was nothing pleasant about the primary message coming from both the speakers and those in attendance: Western civilization is heading for hell and a hand basket, just like Rand predicted in her seminal novel.

In the accompanying video, ARI president Yaron Brook tells Henry why Rand’s devotees believe the global economy is “heading for collapse.”

Republican Presidential Candidate Rep. Ron Paul was booed at last night’s CNN/Tea Party debate while explaining his view on why America was attacked on September 11, 2001.

During the debate, the Texas congressman was asked if he planned to decrease defense spending to balance the budget.

Paul agreed that there is waste to cut, specifically dealing with outdated technology. However he said that a lot more money could be saved if America embraced a policy of non-intervention. He added that the United States is in 130 countries and has 900 bases around the world, and added that “we’re broke.”

Paul then went a step forward, criticizing America’s global presence, especially in the Middle East, as being a catalyst for terrorism.

“We have to be honest with ourselves. What would we do if another country, say, China, did to us what we do to all those countries over there?” Paul asked.

His view of foreign non-intervention received applause from the audience. It was also the subject of his latest Texas Straight Talk column marking the anniversary of 9/11....

Kicking off Labor Day weekend last Friday was a report by the Labor Department that, on balance, the U.S. economy failed to create a single job in August.  On the bright side, this also means not a single job was lost in August either.  Unfortunately, a zero reading is actually a negative reading…125,000 jobs a month are generally needed just to keep up with population growth.

Somehow the unemployment rate stayed at 9.1 percent.  However, it is really much higher.  There are 14 million people that are officially unemployed.  But there are also 11.4 million others that are unofficially unemployed....
