“They quite literally can watch your ideas form as you type,” an unnamed intelligence officer told Barton Gellman and Laura Poitras of the Washington Post.

“They” are the National Security Agency, and the Post report reveals that an N.S.A. program called Prism has, for the past six years, been “tapping directly into the central servers of nine leading U.S. Internet companies, extracting audio, video, photographs, e-mails, documents and connection logs that enable analysts to track a person’s movements and contacts over time.”

The leaders of the Supreme Military Council of the Free Syrian Army told the senator they want the U.S. to provide arms, a no-fly zone, and strikes on Hezbollah.

Sen. John McCain Monday became the highest-ranking U.S. official to enter Syria since the bloody civil war there began more than two years ago, The Daily Beast has learned.

Hayden’s Note:

The “Syrian rebels”, as I’ve stated for a very long time, are mostly made up of guerrilla fighters, insurgents, and freelance mercenaries willing to fight for whomever pays. We saw this exact same operation in Libya, and again, the “rebels” received American support, including money, arms, logistics, communications, and air support. Many of those “rebels” were openly-admitted al-Qaeda members, some who had notoriously killed American soldiers only a year prior.

I understand that some of you are fiercely patriotic, but start questioning things like this. It is a direct violation of the National Defense Authorization Act to arm or support al-Qaeda members, as well as meeting the very definition of treason – “…to give aid or support to the enemy.”

Do you see the blatant lies here?

Last Friday, during the Washington Institute for Near East Policy forum luncheon on “How to Build US-Israeli Coordination on Preventing an Iranian Nuclear Breakout,” the director of research at the pro-Israel think tank hinted suggested that a Pearl Harbor-type attack false flag terrorism might be necessary to get the United States to go to war against the Islamic Republic.

“I frankly think that crisis initiation is really tough,” said Patrick Clawson, in response to a question about what would happen if negotiations with Tehran fail. “And it’s very hard for me to see how the United States … uh … President can get us to war with Iran.”

“So, if in fact the Iranians aren’t going to compromise,” the Israel lobbyist concluded with a smirk on his face, “it would be best if somebody else started the war.”

Other remarks include, “Look people, Iranian submarines periodically go down. Someday, one of them might not come up. ::shrugs shoulders:: Who would know why? ::stifled laughter::”

“We are in the game of using covert means against the Iranians.”

I’d like to point out the blatant war crimes and conspiring to commit murder that occurs in this video in reference to his idea of sinking an Iranian submarine, and his “Who cares?” attitude about the covert actions that are being conducted inside of a sovereign nation.

People often ask me why the West doesn’t attempt a Libya-style intervention in Syria. After all, things are going so well in Libya. Oil production is up. But oil production is merely a mirage, as is security in Libya, which was doomed from the day one PG (post-Gaddafi) because of the way it was “liberated”.

While this is a more “mainstream” piece regarding Libya, towards the end, it really gets into the nuts and bolts about what happened during the initial “liberation” and the current problems revolving around US Ambassador Steven’s death.  Private intelligence firm Jellyfish Operations offers up straight-forward information regarding Abu Yahya al-Libi and CIA-backed “al-Qaeda” terrorist/puppet Ayman al-Zawahiri. (All-CIA-Duh!)

As you read it, look beyond what’s merely printed in black and white and add a bit of imagination to it – trust me, it is much further down the rabbit hole than even your wildest imaginations.  Connect the dots and wake up.  We use “terrorists” as proxy armies, as puppets, as a means to an end, and when we’re done with them, we demonize them in our mainstream media and send the drones in.

In 2011, the US government rolled out its “International Strategy for Cyberspace,” which reminded us that “interconnected networks link nations more closely, so an attack on one nation’s networks may have impact far beyond its borders.” An in-depth report today from the New York Times confirms the truth of that statement as it finally lays bare the history and development of the Stuxnet virus—and how it accidentally escaped from the Iranian nuclear facility that was its target.

If you’ll recall, I told everyone that Stuxnet was a product of American and Israeli cooperation, and not some silly, random hackers last year.  Many people can not wrap their little heads around the fact that our Govt, and many Western-friendly countries, are committing terrorism in varying degrees abroad.  Cyber attacks and espionage? Arming insurrections against sovereign nations for political reasons? Violating sovereign airspace to conduct bombings? Check, check, and check. The American government does it each and every day and is the very definition of terrorism.

We’ve discussed this a few times in the past, but the FBI’s main counter-terrorism initiative these days appears to be centered around creating its own terrorist plots to thwart. First, they find clueless, easily manipulated people, who have no actual connections with terrorists. Then, they concoct entire terrorism plots, where every other person is an FBI agent, and any tools, “weapons” and money are supplied by the FBI. Finally, they “bust” the guy just before he carries out the plot that never would have happened anyway. We see this pattern again and again – and each time the press uncritically hypes up how the FBI successfully stopped a real “homegrown” terrorist.

Of course, it’s happened once again, and the basic plotlines are identical to ones in the past. And, of course, the press is describing it like it was an actual terrorist plot, pretending that people was actually at risk.

In the FBI’s latest screenplay, they would have you believe that a 6’5, 350 lb. black man named Shaquille Azir approached a group of five motley Occupy protesters – who are self-described anarchists – and talk them into bombing a bridge with C-4 explosives.

The Ministry of Defence is considering placing surface-to-air missiles on residential flats during the Olympics.

An east London estate, where 700 people live, has received leaflets saying a “Higher Velocity Missile system” could be placed on a water tower.

Hayden’s Note:

When is enough, enough?  Missiles on top of apartments in order to safeguard the Olympics?  Really?

A spokesman said the MoD had not yet decided whether to deploy ground based air defence systems during the event.

The journalist said: “At first I thought it was a hoax. I can’t see what purpose high-velocity missiles could serve over a crowded area like Tower Hamlets.

“They say they’ll only use them as a last resort, but… you’d shower debris across the east end of London by firing these missiles.”

He continued: “They are going to have a test run next week, putting high velocity missiles on the roof just above our apartment and on the back of it they’re stationing police and military in the tower of the building for two months.

“It [the leaflet] says there will be 10 officers plus police present 24/7.”...

In an astonishing bit of unexpected news, a senior State Department official has announced, “The war on terror is over.” This stems from the idea, reports the National Journal, that, “it is no longer the case, in other words, that every Islamist is seen as a potential accessory to terrorists.”

That same official continues, “Now that we have killed most of al Qaida, now that people have come to see legitimate means of expression, people who once might have gone into al Qaida see an opportunity for a legitimate Islamism.”

This is great news, isn’t it? If the “War on Terror” is over, then we can repeal and reverse all the ridiculous police state laws that were put in place to protect us from terrorism… right?

I mean, can we now fire the TSA? They were only put in place after the “terror” attacks on 9/11. If the war on terror is over, the TSA is no longer needed (even if you assume they were effective at all, which they weren’t).

Can we now repeal the Patriot Act which was passed out of an urgency to defend America from terrorists?...

A new program in Houston will place undercover TSA agents and police officers on buses to perform bag searches, watch for “suspicious activity,” and interrogate passengers in order to ‘curb crime and terrorism’.

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee unveiled the program, labeled Bus Safe.

Welcome to the Police State.  Officers will now search your bags, question your motives, and invade your constitutional privacy in the name of preventing “terrorism” on buses and trains, via the criminal-laden TSA.  In reality, it is a conditioning effort.

It would not end pretty if I were riding the bus and was harassed by TSA goons, frisked without probable cause, or even reasonable suspicion, and questioned as if I were a common thug. I would likely end up in jail with severe injuries.  Let’s see… 1st, 4th, and 5th Amendment violations so far…

Let’s be honest, quite a few Americans love a good war, especially those Americans who have never had to bear witness to one first hand.  War is the ultimate tribally vicarious experience.  Anyone, even pudgy armchair generals with deep-seated feelings of personal inadequacy, can revel in the victories and actions of armies a half a world away as if they themselves stood on the front lines risking possible annihilation at the hands of dastardly cartoon-land “evil doers”.  They may have never done a single worthwhile thing in their lives, but at least they can bask in the perceived glory of their country’s military might.

This attitude of swollen ego through proxy is not limited to the “Right” side of the political spectrum as some might expect.  In fact, if the terrifyingly demented presidency of Barack Obama has proven anything so far, it is that elements of the “Left” are just as bloodthirsty as any NeoCon, and just as ready to blindly support the political supremacy of their “side” regardless of any broken promises, abandoned principles, or openly flaunted hypocrisies....
