FBI Prevents Another of Their Own Terror Plots – Shaquille Azir and the Occupiers

We’ve discussed this a few times in the past, but the FBI’s main counter-terrorism initiative these days appears to be centered around creating its own terrorist plots to thwart. First, they find clueless, easily manipulated people, who have no actual connections with terrorists. Then, they concoct entire terrorism plots, where every other person is an FBI agent, and any tools, “weapons” and money are supplied by the FBI. Finally, they “bust” the guy just before he carries out the plot that never would have happened anyway. We see this pattern again and again – and each time the press uncritically hypes up how the FBI successfully stopped a real “homegrown” terrorist.

Of course, it’s happened once again, and the basic plotlines are identical to ones in the past. And, of course, the press is describing it like it was an actual terrorist plot, pretending that people was actually at risk.

Hayden’s Note:

In the FBI’s latest screenplay, they would have you believe that a 6’5, 350 lb. black man named Shaquille Azir approached a group of five motley Occupy protesters – who are self-described anarchists – and talk them into bombing a bridge with C-4 explosives.

London 2012 Olympics: Surface-to-Air Missiles on Apartment Roofs

The Ministry of Defence is considering placing surface-to-air missiles on residential flats during the Olympics.

An east London estate, where 700 people live, has received leaflets saying a “Higher Velocity Missile system” could be placed on a water tower.

Hayden’s Note:

When is enough, enough?  Missiles on top of apartments in order to safeguard the Olympics?  Really?

A spokesman said the MoD had not yet decided whether to deploy ground based air defence systems during the event.

The journalist said: “At first I thought it was a hoax. I can’t see what purpose high-velocity missiles could serve over a crowded area like Tower Hamlets.

“They say they’ll only use them as a last resort, but… you’d shower debris across the east end of London by firing these missiles.”

He continued: “They are going to have a test run next week, putting high velocity missiles on the roof just above our apartment and on the back of it they’re stationing police and military in the tower of the building for two months.

“It [the leaflet] says there will be 10 officers plus police present 24/7.”...

State Dept Claims ‘War on Terror is Over’ – So Can We Get Rid of the Police State?

Posted on Apr 25, 2012 in Alphabet Agencies & Operations, Constitutional & Liberty Issues, Police, Military, & War

Kevin Hayden – TruthisTreason.net

Source: Natural News

In an astonishing bit of unexpected news, a senior State Department official has announced, “The war on terror is over.” This stems from the idea, reports the National Journal, that, “it is no longer the case, in other words, that every Islamist is seen as a potential accessory to terrorists.”

That same official continues, “Now that we have killed most of al Qaida, now that people have come to see legitimate means of expression, people who once might have gone into al Qaida see an opportunity for a legitimate Islamism.”

This is great news, isn’t it? If the “War on Terror” is over, then we can repeal and reverse all the ridiculous police state laws that were put in place to protect us from terrorism… right?

I mean, can we now fire the TSA? They were only put in place after the “terror” attacks on 9/11. If the war on terror is over, the TSA is no longer needed (even if you assume they were effective at all, which they weren’t).

Can we now repeal the Patriot Act which was passed out of an urgency to defend America from terrorists?...

Metro Bus Program: Undercover TSA Agents Searching Bags, Interrogating Passengers

A new program in Houston will place undercover TSA agents and police officers on buses to perform bag searches, watch for “suspicious activity,” and interrogate passengers in order to ‘curb crime and terrorism’.

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee unveiled the program, labeled Bus Safe.

Hayden’s Note:

Welcome to the Police State.  Officers will now search your bags, question your motives, and invade your constitutional privacy in the name of preventing “terrorism” on buses and trains, via the criminal-laden TSA.  In reality, it is a conditioning effort.

It would not end pretty if I were riding the bus and was harassed by TSA goons, frisked without probable cause, or even reasonable suspicion, and questioned as if I were a common thug. I would likely end up in jail with severe injuries.  Let’s see… 1st, 4th, and 5th Amendment violations so far…

“While local law enforcement agencies focus on overall safety measures noted above, representatives with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will also be on hand, lending their counter-terrorism expertise and support during the exercise,” states the press release....

Consequences to Expect if the US Invades Iran

Let’s be honest, quite a few Americans love a good war, especially those Americans who have never had to bear witness to one first hand.  War is the ultimate tribally vicarious experience.  Anyone, even pudgy armchair generals with deep-seated feelings of personal inadequacy, can revel in the victories and actions of armies a half a world away as if they themselves stood on the front lines risking possible annihilation at the hands of dastardly cartoon-land “evil doers”.  They may have never done a single worthwhile thing in their lives, but at least they can bask in the perceived glory of their country’s military might.

This attitude of swollen ego through proxy is not limited to the “Right” side of the political spectrum as some might expect.  In fact, if the terrifyingly demented presidency of Barack Obama has proven anything so far, it is that elements of the “Left” are just as bloodthirsty as any NeoCon, and just as ready to blindly support the political supremacy of their “side” regardless of any broken promises, abandoned principles, or openly flaunted hypocrisies....

Massive Expansion of TSA Checkpoints and VIPER Teams

Congress will soon be signing a bill allowing additional funding for a large expansion of TSA checkpoints soon.  Yes, checkpoints.  No longer are the TSA relegated to the lowly airport, as 25 teams have been roving the country side conducting highway checkpoints, setting up shop at bus terminals, sporting events, and even a high school prom.  Congress apparently feels as though you aren’t being reminded on a daily basis that you live in an ever-increasing police state, so they want to add twelve more “Viper Teams” to the roster.

Just this past weekend, I was introduced to just how invasive the new “pat downs” are at the airport after “opting-out” of the naked body scanner.   The TSA agent advised me before starting, “I have to run my hand up your thigh until I meet resistance, both front and back.”  I replied, “Uhh, resistance?  Like my pelvic bone?”  He laughed and said, “Exactly.  Ready?”

I was left conflicted and slightly amused; should I leave my phone number or demand he buy me dinner and a drink first?

“The TSA’s 25 “viper” teams – for Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response – have run more than 9,300 unannounced checkpoints and other search operations in the last year.

Easy to Understand: Why the Indefinite Detention Bill DOES Apply to US Citizens

In response to my essay documenting that the indefinite detention bill does apply to American citizens on U.S. soil, a commentator posted:

Can somebody explain to me like I am 5, why [one of the bill's provisions - which discusses U.S. citizens] does not protect citizens?

Yes, let me explain it in words that even a 5-year-old can understand …

The bill says that the military must detain anyone SUSPECTED of aiding terrorists.

One provision says that the mandatory (“must”) indefinite detention doesn’t apply to U.S. citizens … but that the government CAN indefinitely detain any US citizen it feels like without trial, without presenting evidence, without letting the citizen consult with a lawyer, and without even charging the citizen.

This would destroy our Constitutional rights to trial, to face our accuser, and to consult with an attorney.

Get it?  Here are some other, easy-to-understand explanations:

Congressman Justin Amash wrote:

Senators McCain and Levin have teamed up to promote one of the most anti-liberty pieces of legislation of our lifetime, S 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act. This bill would permit the federal government to indefinitely detain American citizens on American soil, without charge or trial, at the discretion of the President.

For ten months the Obama administration has presided over the “Arab Spring,” a geopolitical gambit years in the making, and executed simultaneously in multiple nations throughout the Middle East and North Africa in the beginning of 2011. The regional conflagration was stoked by a steady stream of first, denial, even feigned surprise, with covert support for US-backed opposition groups, then more overt support, and finally NATO airstrikes, weapons, training, and special operations forces lent to the rebellion in Libya and weapons and support sent to Syria’s militants. These collective efforts stretching from Tunisia and leading up to Iran’s doorstep serve a singular agenda -that is, to contain and ultimately overturn the reemergence of Russia as well as containing the rise of China.

Toppling Iran

Integral to this stated agenda, is the toppling of Iran’s government and its integration into the Wall Street-London “international order.” Efforts to topple Syria’s government by US-backed and now apparently armed opposition groups aim to isolate and even provoke the Islamic Republic into a suitable justification for US or Israeli (or both) retaliation....

US Troops’ Massive Homecoming is Just Another War Machine Lie

Posted on Oct 21, 2011 in Police, Military, & War, Political Issues

Kevin Hayden – TruthisTreason.net

President Barack Obama has announced that virtually all US troops will come home from Iraq by the end of the year - at which point he can declare an end to America’s long and costly war in that Middle Eastern nation.

“After nearly nine years, America’s war in Iraq will be over, Obama said. “The coming months will be a season of homecomings. Our troops in Iraq will definitely be home for the holidays. – CNN “

However, this begs the question, “When will our troops from Yemen, Uganda, Afghanistan, Somalia, Germany, Egypt, Pakistan, Japan, Libya, South Korea, Turkey, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Kuwait, Bahrain, Portugal, Belgium, and the numerous other countries where soldiers are stationed come home?”

Furthermore, I don’t foresee a massive “homecoming” for the holidays.  The Administration is attempting to create some aire of happy holidays and hugs at the airport, when in reality, most of these soldiers will simply be shifted to other regional bases, such as Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Afghanistan.  This is merely a military troop re-allocation in preperation for a conflict with Iran, or perhaps a handful of other countries who might suddenly find themselves within the Western crosshairs....

Colonel Ahmed Bani, the military spokesman of the National Transition Council, has confirmed to Al Jazeera that Muammar Gaddafi has been killed.

Hayden’s Note:

Let me get this straight… we were merely assisting NATO with enforcement of a No-Fly Zone, thus side-stepping a Congressional declaration of war.  It then became clear that the “rebels” were not Libyan citizens at all, but instead Western-financed and self-admitted al-Qaeda members from around the world. We gave them massive arsenals and provided air strikes on multiple cities so that they could advance into Tripoli and slaughter citizens.  Then, a Central Bank popped up and the “rebels” seized vital oil refineries and shipping channels.  The State Dept. recognized these terrorists as the new government of Libya, the National Transitional Council, with a US-soldier killing, genocidal madman at the helm.  Then we assisted them in exporting Libyan oil to an energy-stricken Italy that is near collapse.  And now we have assassinated a Head of State.  This is illegal for the President of the United States to take part in and has been for the last 40 years or so....

As you read this article, please keep in mind that it is the underlying issue that is important.  Your opinion on Iraq, the War on Terror, “al-Qaeda,” and Obama should be left at the door.  What is being discussed here is the unlawful, unconstitutional “hit” that was ordered by our Executive Department.  All US citizens, no matter their current religion, location, idealogy, or actions, are to be given due process.  Our government has made a habit out of using “state secrets” and the War on Terror as an excuse to skirt the Constitution and follow the Rule of Law.

A U.S. diplomatic cable made public by WikiLeaks provides evidence that U.S. troops executed at least 10 Iraqi civilians, including a woman in her 70s and a 5-month-old infant, then called in an airstrike to destroy the evidence, during a controversial 2006 incident in the central Iraqi town of Ishaqi.

The unclassified cable, which was posted on WikiLeaks’ website last week, contained questions from a United Nations investigator about the incident, which had angered local Iraqi officials, who demanded some kind of action from their government. U.S. officials denied at the time that anything inappropriate had occurred.

Hayden’s Note:

It’s called, “War Crimes.”

But Philip Alston, the U.N.’s special rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, said in a communication to American officials dated 12 days after the March 15, 2006, incident that autopsies performed in the Iraqi city of Tikrit showed that all the dead had been handcuffed and shot in the head.  Among the dead were four women and five children. The children were all 5 years old or younger....

NATO Supports al-Qaeda’s Notorious Genocidal Abdul Belhadj as New Libyan Military Dictator

A prominent political analyst says NATO forces have teamed up with the terrorist group al-Qaeda to rebuild Libya after the departure of its dictator Muammar Gaddafi.

In an exclusive interview with Press TV, Webster Tarpley, author and historian, said that the new rebel commander of Tripoli is a top al-Qaeda leader who has worked for the Afghanis and fought against the United States.

The new military dictator of Tripoli is none other than the infamous Abdul Hakim Belhadj, an international terrorist, a famous, notorious “genocidalist” of al-Qaeda who has carried out international terrorism all across the globe,” Tarpley said.

Corroborative statement:  Speaking to RT News from Brazil, Asia Times correspondent Pepe Escobar said that an al-Qaeda asset is now leading the military of rebel-controlled Libya.  See more here: http://rt.com/usa/news/al-qaeda-libya-commander-escobar-269/

Head of Libyan Security Services Calls Out NATO for Supporting al-Qaeda

Posted on Aug 22, 2011 in Featured Articles

Kevin Hayden – TruthisTreason.net

Source: Madison Ruppert

The American “war on terror” is a sham designed to strip freedoms from Americans while consolidating wealth and power into the hands of the elite.

Since the war on terror began, absolutely no measurable progress has been made and the entire nomenclature assigned to this “war” bolsters this fact by showing that this is a war that is meant to continue forever, across the world.

For those who are still taken by the illusion that we are actually fighting terrorism, our support of rebels openly associated with al Qaeda in Libya (the same al Qaeda group responsible for sending militants to Iraq to kill American soldiers) should have shattered this delusion.

The head of the Libyan security services, that is the real Libyan security services, not the al Qaeda-affiliated rebel war criminals, Abdullah al-Snousi made this very clear in a statement earlier today.

Hayden’s Note:

I’ve said this time and time again.  See here, herehere and here (whew!) for various editorials and commentary regarding Western support for al-Qaeda (All-CIA-duh!) masquarading as “Libyan rebels concerned for their people,” allowing these banker-paid terrorist proxy armies to set up shop in Washington, DC at the Libya Embassy, and arming them with advanced weaponry.  These are the same “terrorists” that US soldiers are “fighting” in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Which side of the War on Terror are we really on?  I’ll give you 3 guesses and the first two don’t count....

Air Conditioning Cost for US Military in MidEast More Than Total NASA Budget

TruthisTreason.net – Kevin Hayden

Source: Raw Story

The United States spends $20.2 billion annually on air conditioning for troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan — more than NASA’s entire budgetNPR reported.

In fact, the same amount of money that keeps soldiers cool is the amount the G-8 has committed to helping the fledgling democracies in Tunisia and Egypt.

The necessary cooling costs so much because of the remote locations and danger involved in delivery equipment and fuel says Steven Anderson, a retired logistician who served under Gen. David Petraeus in Iraq.

“When you consider the cost to deliver the fuel to some of the most isolated places in the world — escorting, command and control, med-evac support — when you throw all that infrastructure in, we’re talking over $20 billion,” Anderson told NPR. “You’ve got risks that are associated with moving the fuel almost every mile of the way.”

Hayden’s Note:

Funny that they mention the costs involved in moving the fuel “almost every mile of the way.”  Previously, we’ve discussed the insane ways in which the poppy fields and strategic roadways are controlled by warlords and at least in the southern Helmand Province, by the Afghan President’s own brother.  Top military leaders have admitted to on-going bribes paid in order for supplies to travel through certain regions – and this money goes directly back into growing opium, arming insurgents and financially supporting those that take up arms against the occupying Western forces.  So,literally, the $20 billion we pay every year in order to air condition TENTS and metal containers in a desert goes right back into the hands of defense contractors and insurgents alike....

Polish Officials May Face Charges Over Secret CIA Torture Prisons – Hayden’s Note Attached

Posted on Jun 02, 2011 in Police, Military, & War

TruthisTreason.net – Kevin Hayden

Source: Warsaw Business Journal

Polish state prosecutors are considering bringing charges against members of the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) for their alleged involvement in secret CIA prisons located on Polish soil between 2002-2005. The prisons were allegedly used to torture terrorist suspects from al-Qaeda.

Officials from the leftist SLD government in power at the time, including former Prime Minister Leszek Miller, may be charged with violating Poland’s constitution, helping to illegally imprison a number of people and with participating in crimes against humanity.

Hayden’s Note:

How about bringing some of those charges against those actually responsible for it, such as the Bush Regime, the CIA, private “defense” contractors and others?  If the Polish go down in flames for “crimes against humanity” for merely assisting; for simply offering a place for these torture interrogations to take place, what should those responsible for the actual torture be held for?  Sickening.  All of it.  Intelligence is not gained from torture.  It is gained from analyzing reports, interviews, tips, informants, street actions and quality, covert operatives.

Anyone can bully their way into a country when flanked by M1 Abram tanks and an Air Force, capture random people and torture them until they glean a tiny fraction of knowledge.  But to truly be an investigator, to conduct an intelligence operation while maintaining some semblence of ethical and moral integrity, it takes a lot more skill.  Besides, torture just doesn’t work as well as most think and then you spend your time analyzing all sorts of false and confusing information that you’ve been fed from a half-crazed, tortured street soldier....

79 Senators Vote to Trash the Constitution: The “War of Terror” on the US Grows

If you haven’t received the memo yet, let me update you on your status as it pertains to the Constitution and your civil liberties; you have neither.  79 Senators who snickered as they swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States, voted to render you guilty in advance, with no chance of proving your innocence.  The unlawful data mining and collection, the compilation of dossiers on virtually every person in the US, the unwarranted wire-tapping, the rifling through personal records of all kinds for no other reason than to collect information to be used at a later date if the government decides to prosecute you for whatever reasons, was extended.

The Patriot Acts were sold to the public as part of the war of terror perpetrated by the Bush administration after the false flag attacks of 9/11.  A “War of Terror” is being perpetrated by our own government against its own people and is blessed by both Democrat and Republican alike.  “We the people” are the terrorists the government fears.

The Patriot Act: When Truth Becomes Treason

Posted on May 27, 2011 in Featured Articles, Police, Military, & War

TruthisTreason.net – Kevin Hayden

Dissident Voice - Susan Lindauer

Many Americans think they understand the dangers of the Patriot Act, which Congress has vowed to extend 4 more years in a vote later this week. Trust me when I say, Americans are not nearly frightened enough.

Ever wonder why the truth about 9/11 never got exposed? Why Americans don’t have a clue about leadership fraud surrounding the War on Terror? Why Americans don’t know if the 9/11 investigation was really successful? Why the Iraqi Peace Option draws a blank? Somebody has known the whereabouts of Osama bin Laden— or his grave—for the past 10 years. But nobody’s talking to the people.

In significant part, that’s because of the Patriot Act— a law that equates free speech with sedition. It’s got a big agenda, with 7,000 pages of Machiavellian code designed to interrupt individual questioning of government policy. In this brave new world, free speech under the Bill of Rights effectively has been declared a threat to government controls for maintaining stability. And the Patriot Act has become the premiere weapon to attack whistle blowers and dissidents who challenge the comfort of political leaders hiding inconvenient truths from the public....

For a people to be free, they must first be honest with themselves, their government, and the world at large.  History is filled with stories of free nations that fell under the spell cast by their governments who exploited the threat of terror.

In fact, numerous presidents in American history already have used various specific threats to sidestep their Constitutional restraints.  Today we are entering a nebulous world where our “enemy” cannot be defined, has no particular allegiance to one country, and is able to adopt new leaders at will.  Rather than encourage a sense of resilience and independence in its citizens, America has chosen to amplify the terror threat in order to concentrate power in the hands of the State.  The very first signpost on this historically familiar road to tyranny is an atmosphere of hate, suspicion, and vindictiveness.  It first begins as an outwardly directed aggression and then rather abruptly turns inward upon itself.

The good news is that freedom is won and lost in the hearts and minds of men.  It is for this reason that we must state the obvious:  we have clearly passed through the first “atmospheric” stage of approaching dictatorship, and have now entered the second — the open behavior of a dictatorship in the United States....

New Legislation Gives President (Unconstitutional) Global War Authority, Hidden in Defense Bill

TruthisTreason.net – Kevin Hayden

Source: ACLU via Cryptogon

Tucked inside the National Defense Authorization Act, being marked up by the House Armed Services Committee this week, is a hugely important provision that hasn’t been getting a lot of attention — a brand new authorization for a worldwide war.

This stealth provision was added to the bill by the committee’s chairman, Rep. Buck McKeon (R-Calif.), but has a bit of a history. It was first proposed by former Attorney General Michael Mukasey in 2008 after the Bush administration lost the Boumediene v. Bush case, in which the Supreme Court decided that federal courts would subject the administration’s asserted law of war basis to hold Guantanamo detainees to searching review. An idea that may have originally been intended to bolster the Bush administration’s basis for holding Guantanamo detainees is now being promoted as an authorization of a worldwide war — and could become the single biggest ceding of unchecked war authority to the executive branch in modern American history.

The current authorization of war provided the constitutional authority for the executive branch to go to war in Afghanistan....

Hail to the Chief!  Or is it Hulk Hogan?

At the recent White House Correspondents Dinner, President Barack Obama was introduced with a short video comprised of Hulk Hogan’s theme song (I am a Real American!), the American flag waving, bald eagles soaring and a large, flashing birth certificate.  Thanks, President.  Real professional of you.

This comes on the same day that President Obama announced that the US military had finally killed the elusive boogey-man, Osama bin Laden.

But… I thought he was already having kidney problems in 2002 and living out his years in the Bora Bora caves with his merry band of terrorists?  Oh, wait.  He was on dialysis – which requires hospitalization and medical care at times.  So, he couldn’t have been in the mountains.

I also clearly recall bin Laden offering up threats of terrorism over global warming recently.  Maybe he’s been hiding at Al Gore’s house?  It’s certainly big enough to get lost in.  That would be an inconvenient truth if I had ever heard one.

Osama blamed the United States and developed countries for not halting climate change and said that the global economy should immediately abandon its reliance on the American dollar, according to an audiotape released by Al Jazeera back in January, 2010....

Those who watched the theatrics of the "Bush Administration" will remember few attack dogs fiercer than Glenn Beck of Fox News. Fox News of course, is of News Corporation, a globalist Council on Foreign Relations corporate member, with Rupert Murdoch an individual member of the CFR as well.

Beck helped sell the ongoing wars in both Afghanistan and Iraq, is a major proponent of war with Iran, Somalia, Libya, and a general clash of civilizations between the West and the over 1 billion Muslims that populate the world. He, along with the rest of the corporate media, has the blood of thousands of Americans on his hands as well as the blood of over a million Iraqis, Afghans, Pakistanis, Somalians, Yemenis, and now Libyans. For this alone, Beck is an irredeemable degenerate liar who belongs not in the center of public debate, but inside a concrete jail cell.

Obama’s “Moral Highground” Means More Detention, Torture and Bombings

Blowing Smoke: Obama Is Morally High

On his second day in office Obama promised to close the Guantanamo Bay “detention” center (if it was called a prison camp it would connote that the inmates are prisoners, and prisoners are entitled to rights, detainees aren’t).  Guantanamo remains open for business and continues to be a national embarrassment to this day.

Promising to return America to the “moral high ground” in the war on terror Obama continues to miserably renege on virtually all of his promises.  He voted for the extension of the Patriot Act, expanded the wars in Afghanistan and now into Pakistan, and the list goes on and on.  If that wasn’t bad enough, Obama recently launched an air war against Libya, completely bypassing Congress.  Obama’s moral high ground also means allowing tortured persons to be tried in a military tribunal without habeas corpus.

(c) The individuals currently detained at Guantánamo have the constitutional privilege of the writ of habeas corpus. Most of those individuals have filed petitions for a writ of habeas corpus in Federal court challenging the lawfulness of their detention…The detention facilities at Guantánamo for individuals covered by this order shall be closed as soon as practicable, and no later than 1 year from the date of this order…    January 22, 2009.

CIA Intel Analyst Blasts US Foreign Policy, Libya; Slams CNN Infobabes

Posted on Apr 04, 2011 in Police, Military, & War

TruthisTreason.net – Kevin Hayden

Source: CNN

A U.S. intelligence source has confirmed the presence of CIA operations in Libya. What does an operation like this look like and what does it mean for the U.S.?  Michael Scheuer, former CIA Counterterrorism Analyst who headed CIA’s Bin Laden Unit, says the U.S. should not have gone into Libya.

Hayden’s Note:

Michael Scheur not only says Libya was none of our business, he lays into the “infobabes” and lets them have it towards the end of this interview.  He discusses the false left/right paradigm briefly and then gets booted off the air.   We need more intelligence analysts and former CIA like this guy speaking publicly.  Maybe then, some of the RHINO-types and traditional war-mongering conservatives can hear it from a “reputable source” and understand that this “war effort” is wrong, that the media is lying to you and all of these things are being done in step with a pre-written end game blueprint.

With Boogey-Man bin Laden Long Dead, Gaddafi Becomes Newest Terror

Posted on Mar 29, 2011 in Featured Articles, Police, Military, & War

TruthisTreason.net – Kevin Hayden

Now that the boogey-man effect of Osama bin Laden has waned, Western think-tanks need a new monster to induce fear and panic.  Enter stage left; Gaddafi.

Expect false flag terror events blamed on the North African leader as a diversion from the failing Middle East theater and the fact that Osama bin Laden has been dead for years.  Also, it would be a convenient excuse to put ground troops into Libya.  Nevermind the fact that we’ve been doing business with him for 30 years.

Source: Breit Bart - A leading US senator said Tuesday that he worried embattled Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi could support terrorist strikes against Western targets in the “dubious” event that he stays in power.

“As long as he’s in power, I’d be concerned that he would support acts of terror. That’s why it’s important to get him out of there,” said Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin, a Democrat.

Levin, in a wide-ranging conversation with reporters, repeatedly blamed Kadhafi for the 1988 Lockerbie bombing and blasts at German cafes and said “nothing stops him” now from resorting to terrorism in response to a UN-mandated onslaught designed to protect populations that rose up against him.

US Slammed for Violating Afghan Human Rights, Civilian Deaths – Hayden’s Note

Posted on Feb 18, 2011 in Constitutional & Liberty Issues, Police, Military, & War

Source: Press TV

A senior Afghan official says the US-led forces have long been violating basic human rights by conducting night raids and killing civilians in the war-ravaged country. Atta Mohammad Noor, the Governor of Balkh Province, says the foreign forces frequently enter residents’ homes and arrest people. “These actions by foreign forces are inhumane and illegal under the Afghan law,” he told reporters in Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital of Balkh Province on Thursday.

Hayden’s Note:

I’m sure they still “hate us for our freedoms…”   Right?  Give me a break.  With Hillary recently espousing her rhetoric in support of the protesting Egyptians yet brutalizing and arresting a former CIA worker who dared to stand during her speech in defiance, and the State Dept. trying to stir the pot in other middle eastern countries via Twitter, it amazes me that we wake up each day and allow this un-American tragedy to continue.  What if a foreign military was in Dallas, going house to house arresting Americans and using drones to flatten neighborhoods?

Better yet, why can we not abide by the rules and laws that we helped Afghanistan set up in their constitution?  We are terrorists in the eyes of many Middle Easterners and I have great sympathy for them.  We attend rallies and “protests” trying to address our own Constitutional issues and yet many of these same “freedom lovers” condemn other parts of the world to a life of death and destruction while supporting the very political-hacks that they “rally” against.  It’s one big circle....

Private Contractor Deaths Surpass US Military Losses in Iraq and Afghanistan

Posted on Feb 10, 2011 in Police, Military, & War

Source: Service Contractor

“…more than 2,000 contractors have died in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. “Contractor deaths now represent over 25 percent of all U.S. fatalities” in those conflicts, write Steven Schooner and Collin Swan of the George Washington University Law School.”

In Iraq in both 2009 and 2010, and in Afghanistan in 2010, contractors were running ahead of the U.S. military in losses, the article indicates.

Hayden’s Note:

More than likely, the term ‘contractor’ refers to security contractors engaged in hostile firefights, convoys and trucking from corporations such as Blackwater (now Xe), DynCorp, Triple Canopy, etc.

Undersea Communication Cables, the TSA and a 3 Ring Circus: An Editorial from Cryptogon.com

If you look at the State Department document [released by WikiLeaks], notice how many times the phrase, “undersea cable landing,” appears? I stopped counting after 50. This goes all the way back to one of my core assumptions on here: If “The Terrorists” were real, this show would have been down long ago. It would take no special equipment or skills. It could be done with publicly available information. It would be sudden. It would be devastating. But it didn’t go that way. Instead, we got a three ring circus, with crashing planes, fireballs and collapsing sky scrapers.

And, for the most part, people have tolerated everything that has followed.

I have mostly doubted that my fiber optic doom’s day scenario would ever be on the table, in terms of a false flag, UNLESS, the financial system just couldn’t be doubled down again. Then… Maybe. And what do you know?  An obscure issue that hardly anybody has heard of, outside of the industry, the military and the wonks who study it, is getting top billing across a wide swath of the mainstream press....

WikiLeaks Poised to Release Three Million More Secret Documents

Posted on Nov 22, 2010 in Alphabet Agencies & Operations

Source: Breit Bart

WikiLeaks said Monday it was planning to publish nearly three million more secret documents in its next mass release of confidential material, according to its Twitter feed.

WikiLeaks did not say when the release would be, nor on what subject, but the number of documents would be seven times larger than its release last month when it posted some 400,000 secret documents about the war in Iraq on its site.

“Next release is 7x the size of the Iraq War Logs. intense pressure over it for months. Keep us strong,” WikiLeaks said on its Twitter feed, adding a link to a donations website.

It would be WikiLeaks’ third mass release of classified documents after it published 77,000 secret US files on the Afghan conflict in July.

WikiLeaks argues the release of the documents, US-soldier authored incident reports from 2004 to 2009, has shed light on the wars, including allegations of torture by Iraqi forces and reports that suggested 15,000 additional civilian deaths in Iraq.

WikiLeaks’ announcement comes just days after Sweden issued an international arrest warrant for the website’s head, Australian Julian Assange, wanted for questioning related to rape and sexual molestation accusations....
