Major Nidal Malik Hasan worshipped at a mosque led by a radical imam said to be a “spiritual adviser” to three of the hijackers who attacked America on Sept 11, 2001.

U.S. Army Major Malik Hasan, the sole suspect in the massacre of 13 fellow US soldiers in Texas, attended the controversial Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Great Falls, Virginia, in 2001 at the same time as two of the September 11 terrorists, The Sunday Telegraph has learnt. His mother’s funeral was held there in May that year.
The preacher at the time was Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born Yemeni scholar who was banned from addressing a meeting in London by video link in August because he is accused of supporting attacks on British troops and backing terrorist organisations.
Last night Hasan remained in a coma under guard at a military hospital in San Antonio, Texas, and was said to be in a “stable” condition. Born in America to a Palestinian family, Hasan, 39, was an army psychiatrist who had chosen to sign up for the US military against his parents’ wishes.
[Hayden's Note: Every single report coming out of Fort Hood stated that ONE of the shooting suspects was dead. These were early reports. It's difficult to pronounce someone dead, especially when surrounded by experienced combat medics, if 6 hours later he's suddenly "in stable condition...in a coma". C'mon! Get your stories straight!]
But he turned into an angry critic of the wars America was waging in Iraq and Afghanistan and had tried in vain to negotiate his discharge.
[Hayden's Note: If Major Hasan was so desperately trying to negotiate his discharge from the U.S. Army, then why....WHY.... was he promoted to the rank of Major in May of this year? A mere 7 months ago! It's not something you just casually ask for..."Oh, excuse me General, do you mind if I could get a higher salary grade and be promoted to Major? I mean, I don't really enjoy my job or even wearing this uniform, but I'd really like to be promoted. ....What's that? It takes almost an act of Congress to promote someone to Major? Oh.]
[Hayden's Note: Further more, the state controlled media, ie CNN, Fox, MSNBC, et al, are stating that the FBI was investigating Major Hasan 6 months ago, in June, for "anti-semitic remarks", "posting on extremist websites", "equating suicide bombers to soldiers who throw themselves on grenades to save their unit...", and his attendance at a "known extremist" mosque with supposed 9/11 hijackers. Really? Why was he promoted to Major a month earlier?!
Also… how does ONE man take out that many soldiers with a PISTOL. He is said to have used a “high powered handgun” – presumably the FN 5.7, which uses a modified .223 caliber round, very similar to what the military uses in their M16 platform. If I recall right, the handgun has a 20 round capacity and is very large. If he were able to maintain 100% accuracy, he would have been on his 3rd magazine. Add in the stress of someone who has never seen combat or been involved in a real life shooting, and that accuracy will diminish to 50%-60% at best. So, he is now on his 6th or 7th magazine and engaging police officers and other military soldiers who are armed with M16 automatic rifles, shotguns, etc. I just find this all very hard to believe.
Gimme a break! Geez.
