    1. The Anarchist Cookbook describes activities which may be dangerous and illegal. In addition, the Anarchist Cookbook contains many dangerous errors.

The author himself wanted to take the book out of print, but the publisher owned it.

again, there is a lot of information on the net and such, and most of it is hearsay and rumor, corroborating itself giving it ‘netgitimacy’
      (yeah, my word, sorry)

      1. I believe survival, military manuals, and other self protection resources such as these, so that anyone can educate themselves is a wonderful thing. Thank you for posting these materials for others. I will be passing on this URL on other post sites help increase traffic here. Here is another site that contains a wide variety of resource manuals if anyone is interested https://www.survivalschool.us/survival-info/military-manuals-pdf/
I am former military and have been teaching survival and tactics for 10 years now and currently work as a security consultant from time to time. I believe that the current state of affairs with terrorism that everyone should educate themselves and be pro-active in keeping themselves and others safe.
Situational awareness of your immediate surroundings is one of your best defenses. So, stay alert and stay alive!

  2. Adding these to a piratebox. Hopefully someone else enjoys them as much as I have. Thank you very much.

  3. There is a series of 4 or 5 books called the Foxfire 1, Foxfire 2, etc. These books try to put into writing a lot of the lost trades from 1700-1900’s. Everything from log homes to milking goats, blacksmithing, slaughtering animals, animal husbandry, cast iron cookery. Making recipes with primitive methods. Making cloth, weaving. Sewing, making repairs to things. wood craving of utensils. (IT’s in there!) An amazing resource if an EMP comes along and resets civilizations clocks back to the 1800’s.

    1. do you have a link or any info on how to get the foxfire series ? i have heard they are excellent.

      1. The Foxfire series is a classic and a mainstay on most book shelves. I’m not sure of where to find a digital copy for download, but I haven’t looked around much for them. I’ll see what I can do. If they are available for distribution, I’ll certainly get them listed.

If you’re wanting a digital version, have you checked Amazon for a Kindle or e-book version? They are typically only $2 or $3.

And if you do, feel free to use the Amazon link in my sidebar! Help the website out!

        Cheers,
        Hayden

        1. I purchased a few of the volume’s when all those Border’s bookstores closed down so you can still find print versions out there. You could also try your library or inter-library loan plan if your towns doesn’t have it.

          1. I am a subscriber to Backwoods Home magazine. If I recall correctly, you can order the Foxfire series from their “bookshelf.” Check out the “bookshelf” in the back pages of an issue at a local bookstore or go to http://www.backwoodshome.com. BTW, I think there are more like 12 or 14 books in the series.

    2. I won the whole series of Foxfire books there are 12 of them total. They also are making some cookbooks too.
Just to clear up the above comment, there are 12 Foxfire books total.
I did purchase a couple of them from Amazon.com. You may want to check them out to see if they have more. The normal price now is $15.95 each at bookstores. A lot if you are on a limited budget.

  4. I tried to download some of these manuals and while they seem to have downloaded, I cannot open them. Are they fixed so they cannot be downloaded, only printed? Thx!

    1. Ehh, I’m not sure what to tell you. Are you sure you’re trying to open them with the proper program? I’ve had about 83,000 downloads and this is the first I’m hearing of any issues. Without additional info, I can’t troubleshoot what the problem is!

But, to answer your question, you should be able to download, save, print, whatever. They are not protected files.

      Cheers,
      Kevin Hayden

  5. Pingback: Links for 4/23/12
  6. If you are having trouble downloading, it is most likely that your browser is blocking either javascript or re-directed pages. They sometimes do this as a internet safety measure. If you change those settings, you should have no further problems. The download links are valid. After changing those settings temporarily I was able to download with out problems.

  7. These books need to be downloaded, printed and put in a safe. Don’t rely on an internet connection or a computer being operational.

  8. If Planet X or Nibiru really comes DEC, 21st, its interactions with the sun will cause ionizing flares strong enough to create static electricity that may destroy all electronic components on Earth. Unless they are protected, of course. I’ve heard of a trick to protect electronic stuff: wrap them in aluminum foil and bury them. Since there will be earthquakes and floods, the underground container has to be strong and watertight.

  9. What would be real nice is a single archived zip file containing all manuals for one easy download….. 🙂

    1. And then the file would be half a gigabyte in size. I’d rather offer them all individually, so as to allow people to pick and choose what they want. Furthermore, I add to this list quite often, and placing them all in one zip file would be 10x more work every single time I added another .pdf or manual.

      Ami’rite?

However, you see that donation link at the top? Requests like these typically come by way of small donations. 😉

  10. Right now the most complete collection of modern army field manuals is hosted on 4shared. Many of the new manuals are on scribd as well. Sadly scribd does require you to sign in, and downloading shared files on 4shared becomes more of a pain every day. The best way to download from 4shared is to run the link in the FreeRapid Downloader. Thank you for making the above manuals available on your site. I recommend too The Fighting Book 3ED. It is over the top, but well worth reading in my opinion.

  11. Awesome resources.
As a gift Idea you can convert old smart phones into readers, load these and include a solar charger for your loved ones.

    1. I agree these are great resources, thanks. Also, your comment is really a great idea, and I agree, all these old tablets and phones that maybe can’t handle today’s games or videos are perfect for using as an offline GPS/map reader and ebook reader. They also can function as a flashlight, and as you said they are perfect to be recharged by a solar charger. Unfortunately you may be awhile waiting for the charge from solar, but at least you will never be without GPS or survival information and you won’t have to carry a stack of books.

      1. There are ways to protect electronics from an EMP. You can improvise a faraday cage and place your electronics with their batteries removed inside. Here is an easy way to improvise one at home http://www.askaprepper.com/10-faraday-cages-you-can-make-at-home/
Everyone interested in this should do some more research on the topic. There are tons of information out there on this subject. You should also do research on Biological and Chemical protection because these are the most likely attacks a terrorist will attempt in the future. Stay alert and stay alive!

  12. Anyone compile these into a torrent or a nzb for usenet? Don’t forget to credit this site and spread their donation message. Thanks!

  13. I used to have some of these on an old computer that, sadly, went belly up. Thanks for posting them.

  14. Thanks for this site. I have been having this uneasy, queasy feeling for a while now, so I have been doing my best to learn some basic survival skills (saving seeds, stocking up on some essentials, buying a small water filter, etc.). Unfortunately, a low income prohibits better preparation, so this site is most sincerely appreciated because it is not a matter of if ‘it’happens, it is a matter of when; and, I have no intention to being carted off to a FEMA camp ‘for my own good’.

    1. Anyone can protect themselves and prepare for a variety of events such as NBC attacks, terrorism, pandemics, asteroid strikes, natural disasters, and numerous others without spending a lot of money. An individual has to think “outside the box” and be creative. First, do as much research as possible on the subject you want using free resources such as this site and others. Second, create a plan and prepare according to your plan of action, but keep in mind that no plan is perfect, so have a back up plan as well. Third, be creative and make things you might need to accomplish your plan. No one has to spend a small fortune to be prepared.

  15. The “Poor mans James Bond – munitions and explosives” link does not lead to a working pdf. file.
